Mark Consuelos Calls Kelly Ripa His 'Forever Girl' in Sweet Beachside Birthday Post
Mark Consuelos has recently taken to his official Instagram account to share a very sweet and special post in which he wishes his soulmate, Kelly Ripa a happy birthday.
The star of "Riverdale" posted a series of pictures of them during a romantic beachside getaway, along with a message honoring the love of his life.
In the post, Consuelos describes Ripa, to whom he has been married for 25 years, not only as his "best friend, lover, confidant" and dance partner in life but also his "forever girl."

SO MUCH LOVE
The 50-year-old wrote that for all the important days they missed being together over the years, he was grateful for having the opportunity to spend the special day with her.
Ripa doesn't hide the fact that relationships are not perfect.
A TASTY SURPRISE
But even before the post, the actor surprised Ripa during an appearance on Friday's episode of "Live with Kelly and Ryan," where he presented her with a bouquet of flowers and a huge cake.
Kelly, who just turned 51, couldn't believe her eyes, especially when she noticed the two-tier birthday cake, which, according to Consuelos, came from BCakeNY, one of her favorite places.
As soon as the host cut into the cake, one could see the red interior, with Consuelos telling Ripa and the audience that the top was made of red velvet while the bottom was lemon buttercream.
As aforementioned, the couple has been married for 25 years, having eloped in 1996. The two have a great relationship and share three beautiful children - Michael, Lola, and Joaquin.
SHARING HER WISDOM
Although they are happily married, Ripa doesn't hide the fact that relationships are not perfect. Last year, she even offered newlyweds some valuable advice:
"You're going to fight, you're going to have disagreements. Relationships, marriages, are not sprints. It's a marathon. There's going to be, like, mile 24 when you're like, 'I quit.' But you just got to push through."

According to Ripa, there is nothing that is unsurmountable, aside from abuse, and that, ultimately, people are going to fight and disagree along the way but that is normal.
Their oldest son, 24-year-old Michael, described them as "relationship goals," and as well as "great role models, adding: "I try to conduct myself the way I think they would."
