Kyle Richards Admits She Will Eventually Have to Walk Away from ‘RHOBH’

Kyle Richards has been a beloved cast member on “RHOBH” for eleven years now. Her time on the show has made her a fan favorite, but she may lose that spot after sharing her thoughts on returning.

Everything changed in March 2010, when Bravo announced their sixth installment of the “Real Housewives” franchise. The first season premiered that October and featured a cast of six women.

Former child actor Kyle Richards was one of the six ladies who made up the Beverly Hills crew. Since then, the TV personality has given fans multiple memorable “Real Housewives” moments, but she won’t be doing it forever.

Many Bravo TV fans would refer to Richards as an ‘OG’ cast member on her show. She even holds the position as the last original Beverly Hills housewife still standing on the show.

This season, Richards was joined by her eldest sister, Kathy Hilton, which has added even more to her presence. Fans have enjoyed seeing the sister duo at play, and the pair even admitted the show had made them closer.

However, as the season draws to a close this month, fans shouldn’t expect to see the same in season 12. Although Richards has been a loyal cast member, she recently revealed she is reevaluating her position.

In a recent interview, Richards was questioned on whether she would be returning for the next season. Unfortunately for her long-time fans, it seems she is on the fence as she gave an uncertain response:

“Every year, I think ‘Oh, it’s a given,’ but you kind of wait and see how you feel, and then, you know, they start bringing it up again to see where your head’s at.”

Although Richards is uncertain whether she will come back next season, she is sure about one thing — she would eventually have to remove herself from the franchise one day.

Perhaps the drama surrounding co-star Erika Jayne became too much to handle for Richards this season. However, she has personally dealt with worse, such as the season 5 Amsterdam incident with Kim and Lisa Rinna.

Nonetheless, this season was quite eventful for the housewives who regularly felt Jayne’s wrath amid her legal woes. Fortunately, everything seems to have been settled at the reunion taping, according to Richards.

Apart from the typical housewives drama, Richards actually had quite the joyful season this time around. For example, the TV personality celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary on the September 1 episode of the show.

While it has been an honor to see Richards through her many milestones, fans should get ready to see that end. However, fingers are crossed that the reality TV icon gives fans at least one more season to say goodbye.
