Hello Magazine reported Princess Charlene of Monaco would undergo one final surgical procedure on Friday, October 8, in her home country South Africa. Her foundation released a statement and revealed:

"Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco will be placed under general anesthetics for her final procedure taking place today.”

The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation wished the 43-year-old royal well with her final operation and recovery process in the statement.

The mom of two has remained in SA since May after falling sick from an ear-nose-throat (ENT) infection and, because of that, has been unable to return to Monaco.

Her scarcity has meant months separated from her spouse, Prince Albert, 63, and their twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, both six years old.

The family is believed to have visited her twice in that time. As of late, her beloved husband has spoken about her prolonged stay in SA while providing her health update.

The prince clarified that his wife was still in SA but would be back home soon after speaking with doctors during his interview with RMC radio.

He revealed the former Olympic swimmer was doing better and that her case was also a bit complex because she was also affected by different problems.

Princess Charlene has remained in her homeland for a couple of months as doctors tended to her infection that developed after a previous ENT surgery.

The Monaco Palace revealed Her Serene Highness was hospitalized on September 1 after collapsing due to her infection back in May.

The royal traveled to her native country to carry out conservation work with her foundation and planned to be there for less than two weeks.

However, she extended her visit due to unexpected health issues. She got the infection after a sinus lift and bone graft she had in preparation for dental implants.
