Couple Wants TikTok Users to Choose a Name for Their Baby as Users Help Raise Money for IVF
Mark and Lucy Brown initially couldn't conceive a child naturally. Fortunately, turning to TikTok helped them pay for IVF treatment.
Building a family is one of life's greatest pursuits. Needless to say, countless challenges come with this desire, and it's up to life partners to persevere through them.
Mark and Lucy Brown witnessed an inspiring encounter, where they managed to finance their fertility treatments, all with the help of TikTok. In a viral video, Mark took a selfie video as his wife entered the laboratory to complete her in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.

In 2018, the couple found themselves at an impasse when they were told that their chances of getting naturally pregnant were little to none. The 41-year-old wife experienced multiple miscarriages, with the most recent one in 2020.
Finding themselves at the crossroads of their desires, the couple took the leap of faith and went with two rounds of IVF treatment.
In a TikTok post, an excited Mark showed himself accompanying his wife to the final stages of the IVF treatment. He said: "The embryo is transferred now; any update will be on our FB page #fyp #rightguysoverandout love to you all ❤️."

The following clip saw the couple entering a McDonald's where they decided to feed on a ton of the fast-food chain's world-famous fries. "That's our IVF story, so see you later," Mark later said.
Unfortunately, not all IVF treatment stories run smoothly. Previously, a mother who conceived twins Flo and Amelia through IVF faced challenges along the way.
According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, IVF is highlighted to be one of the most expensive treatments, with a single round priced at $12,400. In reality, the Browns even spent $20,000 on their first.

Nevertheless, the couple found a way to spend no penny out of their pockets on the next round, with Mark's @RightGuysReview TikTok account earning from the creator fund. The soon-to-be father of two raised $6,000 just by sharing their pregnancy journey.
Mark took the time to thank the TikTok Universe for making it possible for them to fund the treatment. The proud dad said:
"I told you, views equals IVF. If anyone wants to get something you really want on TikTok, get on the creator fund and get your dreams."
As a way of further showing gratitude, the couple has decided to allow their followers to name their child for as long as it remains reasonable. They find that it is only right given that the financial support came from viewers spending time to follow their story.

Her kids underwent two life-saving surgeries while still inside the womb. Luckily, the operations were a success, and her twins were called miracle babies for surviving.
