Hallmark Star Paul Greene Welcomes 2nd Child & His Eldest Son from Another Woman Is Excited to Be a Big Brother

"When Calls The Heart" star Paul Greene and his second baby's mother, Kate Austin, have been engaged since 2019, but they have not married yet.

Hallmark star Paul Greene and his fiancee, Kate Austin, just welcomed their first child together, a son named Austin. The baby is Greene's second child as he has an 18-year-old son, Oliver.

Greene shares his son with his ex Angi Fletcher. Greene and his son are very close, and now they have the perfect opportunity to bond over the family's newest addition.

Greene gushed about his older son to Entertainment Tonight ahead of Austin's birth. The "Christmas CEO" shared that Oliver was very excited to be a big brother.

Greene explained that his son has two siblings from his mother and stepfather, so he has practiced being a good brother. The teenager is also great with young children, so Greene hopes "he will be around for a good part of it."

The "My Favorite Wedding" actor was equally excited to become a father for the second time. He once told People magazine he was "born to be a dad," and it kept him young:

"It teaches me to be kind and patient, and is a total learning experience which keeps me young. I was born to be a dad."

The "Perfect Match" star also shared his excitement about seeing his fiancee become an amazing mother. Greene revealed Kate had been an incredible stepmom to Oliver, so he was thrilled to see her with their child.

After being together for four years, the actor proposed to the creator of Freedom Alchemist during a romantic trip to Italy in 2019. However, they have not married yet.

The pair are an active couple and enjoy taking trips together. They also never miss an opportunity to celebrate special events and milestones, including birthdays and Valentine's Day.

The couple first revealed they were expecting in July. People reported that the baby boy's due date was Thanksgiving Day. However, Austin came on his own time on December 12.

Greene told the outlet that they were tired but thrilled with the birth of their healthy son. He gushed that the mother had been "amazing through it all."

The new family plan to go to their 3,500-square-foot vacation cabin on Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains as the couple enjoys nature, the trees, and the fantastic views the property has to offer.
