Nick Cannon Shares Pics with 7 Kids Including Late Baby Son after Confessing He Did Not Spend Enough Time with Them
Christmas has been a time of celebration for many worldwide, but for Nick Cannon, the season has been a time of change. After he lost his son Zen, the father of seven is spending more time with his children.
In photos posted on his Instagram at the end of 2021, actor Nick Cannon is pictured having quality time with his children. The "Wild N' Out" show host poses with four of his kids in one of the photos.
In the all-smiley snap, Cannon huddles next to the Christmas tree with Powerful Queen Cannon, Golden "Sagon," and his twins, Moroccan and Monroe, 11, who he shares with ex-wife, award-winning singer Mariah Carey.
SPENDING THE HOLIDAYS TOGETHER
In a second photo, "The Masked Singer" host is getting all cozy with his other set of twins, 5-month old Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian. The twins, who he shares with Abby De La Rosa, have matching pajamas with their dad.
A third photo is of the singer with his youngest son, Zen, in matching white beanies. Zen passed away in December, 2021 after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in August.
Little Zen breathed his last on December 5, 2021, after he underwent surgery to treat a high-grade glioma. The concerned parents had made the difficult decision not to pursue any more invasive procedures on their son.
Instead, they chose to focus on giving little Zen the best moments of his life in the short time he had left. But as would be for any parents, knowing their son only had a short time left did not make it any easier for them.
While he did all he could to give his son wonderful final days, Cannon was soon left dealing with feelings of guilt. Opening up to People, "The Nick Cannon Show" host disclosed that he felt he should've spent more time with his kids.
A FATHER OF SEVEN
Despite his busy work schedule, Cannon vows to spend more time with his loved ones, especially his children. The TV personality shares his seven kids with four different baby mamas.
He shares his eldest kids, eleven-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott, with his ex-wife, songstress Mariah Carey. The two welcomed their babies back in 2011 while still happily married.
Cannon also shares son Golden "Sagon," 5, and Powerful Queen, 1, with beauty pageant queen Brittany Bell. In June 2021, Cannon and DJ Abby De La Rosa welcomed their twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir.
Nine days after the twins were born, Cannon welcomed another addition to his brood, Zen, with freelance model Alyssa Scott.
