'Full House' Stars Reunite at Bob Saget's Home to Comfort His Grieving Widow Kelly Rizzo before His Funeral

January is a sad month for the comedy fraternity and the world after renowned comedian Bob Saget passed on after a suspected heart attack.

The star's death shocked many as he had not been battling any health issues. His family confirmed that Saget was healthy.

Hours before his untimely demise, Saget had posted a positive Instagram message saying how happy he was to return to the stage after the COVID hiatus.

A-LIST CELEBRITIES ATTENDED THE FUNERAL

The "Full House" actor praised his audience for being positive, fun, and appreciative during his shows. The star's death comes amid his cross-country stand-up tour, which took off in September 2021.

Following his passing, the "Full House" cast has taken the initiative to visit and console Saget's widow, Kelly Rizzo, 42. Other stars also gathered at the couple's Brentwood, California home.

Those present to help mourn the loss of the legend are Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, and Candace Cameron Bure. Even though the circumstances of their meeting were grim, the former TV family seemed happy to reunite.

Saget was laid to rest on Friday, January 14, at the Mount Sinai memorial park in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Aside from the "Full House" cast, a host of other A-list celebrities attended the private burial ceremony.

John Mayer was a pallbearer while Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock, Jimmy Kimmel, Jeff Ross, and John Stamos graced the event.

Despite the family saying the ceremony would be small, over 100 guests attended to pay their final respects to the comedian.

Rizzo, who's been married to Saget for the last three years, looked somber and wore her wedding ring on her neck. DailyMail reports her to have spoken to Page Six about her loss, saying:

"My whole heart. Bob was my absolute everything."

TRIBUTES TO A LEGEND

Following his death announcement, fans and celebrities alike sent out their tributes, remembering the man that Saget was while he lived.

John Stewart referred to Saget as the funniest and most excellent man he's ever known, while Whoopi Goldberg also sent her condolences to the family, saying he had a huge heart.

RIZZO REMEMBERS HER HUSBAND

Rizzo spoke out for the first time since the funeral, disclosing that she was trying hard not to think of his death as time robbed but instead as a remembrance of the life and memories they shared.

She says she counts herself lucky to have been with the most incredible person on earth. She adds that she had no regrets as they loved each other to the very last moments of Saget's life.
