Milo Ventimiglia & His Ex Alexis Bledel Were Together for 3 Years & Even Spoke about Marriage before Their Split

Milo Ventimiglia is currently not married. However, he and his "Gilmore Girls' costar Alexis Bledel talked about marriage before they broke off their three-year relationship in the 2000s.

Audiences can only see Milo Ventimiglia fitting into the husband role on the silver screen portraying Jack Pearson on "This Is Us," alongside his TV wife, Mandy Moore.

Although the actor is not married and seems not currently in a relationship, he has dated a few of his talented costars, including his costars from "Heroes" and "Gilmore Girls."

During the mid-2000s, fans of the "Gilmore Girls" were excited to see Rory, played by Alexis Bledel and Jess, played by Ventimiglia, develop their relationships through their mutual love of books.

However, what was more exciting was the actors who played the Stars Hollow characters had a relationship of their own in real life, and it was much more serious than their on-screen counterparts.

Bledel and Ventimiglia dated for three years during the filming of the TV show. The couple was even thinking about their future together as Bledel admitted to People Magazine in 2005 that they had discussed getting married one day:

"I think everybody who has been dating for more than a couple of years probably talks about it at some point. It’s a fun thing for us to talk about, but that’s it – it’s down the road."

Unfortunately, their match was not meant to be, and the costars broke up the following year. Bledel then moved on to her "Mad Men" costar Vincent Kartheiser, whom she met when she guest-starred on the show.

Bledel portrayed Kartheriser's character Pete Campbell's mistress during the episode. The couple hit it off and later got married. They welcomed their son together in May 2016.

Unlike his costar, Ventimiglia did not get married. However, he has had a string of relationships over the years. Following his relationship with Bledel, he and his "Heroes" costar Hayden Panettiere were romantically linked.

But in 2009, the couple reportedly split up because they lived different lifestyles. In 2017, Ventimiglia, who keeps his private life under wraps, was dating Kelly Egarian, a marketing coordinator for designer Stella McCartney.

They made their first public appearance at the 2017 Emmys. Although they did not walk the red carpet together, Egarian sat with Ventimiglia during the ceremony and the post-ceremony dinner.

Although Ventimiglia might not be a husband to a lucky lady, he does a great job portraying a father and husband in the drama "This Is Us." He plays Jack Pearson alongside his TV wife Mandy Moore.
