Baby Boy Comes Back to Life after He Is Placed in His Mom's Arms
When her baby was declared dead, one woman experienced emotions of heartbreak and devastation. However, something miraculous happened when the youngster was placed in her arms to say goodbye.
When Kingston Lane was born in 2020, he had to be a fighter from his very first breath. He was born prematurely, and the 24-week-old boy spent several months growing and gaining strength in a Louisville neonatal intensive care unit.
Doctors performed various surgeries on his heart and head to equip him for life. The little boy was the apple of his mom, Brittany's eye. When he displayed signs of stomach irritation last year, she decided to take him to the hospital.

HE HAD NO PULSE
Out of nowhere, his body looked lifeless, and he developed swelling on his head. Medical staff determined that the shunt tube in his head was faulty, and there were also complications with his heart. They tried everything they could to save him.
Brittany shared:
“They were on the ninth one, and they were like, ‘Mrs. Lane, one more time and that’s all we can do for him.’ He was completely blue, no pulse, no heartbeat and cold. Super cold.”
IT WAS A MIRACLE
Kingston was declared dead, and the devastated mother held him in her arms to say goodbye. However, moments later, the little one stunned everyone. His pulse returned, and he grabbed onto his mother's finger.
Brittany expressed:
“It was — I really don’t have any words. It was a miracle. It really was."
PROVED THEM WRONG
The medical team was in disbelief and quickly replaced his broken shunt. Brittany shared that her baby had proved people wrong many times, which was another testament to his fighting spirit.
While Kingston may have had a difficult start to his health journey, his unbelievable recovery showed that he had more life to live.
ANOTHER MIRACLE BABY
Like baby Kingston, a newborn in Halifax, Nova Scotia, was pronounced dead before coming back to life. Robin Cyr was heartbroken when doctors told her that her daughter did not survive the delivery in 2014.
The mother sat with her stillborn baby before nurses moved her into another room. After 25 minutes, a nurse returned to the room with a stunned expression on her face.
A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE
She didn't say anything, so another nurse rushed in and informed Cyr that her baby was breathing again and that she had been miraculously resurrected.
Cyr shared what the doctor told her:
"He said, 'I'm very sorry I gave up on your baby when I did because I turned around and she's breathing on her own.'"
While the doctor could not explain it, the mother attributes it to prayer. Whatever the reason, Cyr and Brittany are thankful their children got a second chance at life.
