Is Susan Kelechi Watson Married Off-Screen Like Her 'This Is Us' Character? Find Out Here
Susan Kelechi Watson's life is very different from her "This Is Us" character Beth Pearson's life as she has never been married and has no children.
Susan Kelechi Watson is known for her role as Beth Pearson in "This Is Us." Her character is married to Randall Pearson (Sterling K. Brown), and the show is based on his family.
The onscreen couple has fantastic chemistry as the forever-in love couple, and that could be because Watson and Brown met while studying at NYU, where their both admired each other's work on TV and stage.

Although Watson does a stellar job portraying a wife and mother to three daughters on the NBC family drama, she had to lean on the experience of other women as she is not married, nor does she have children.
Watson once revealed that she makes an effort to pay attention to what married people still desire and how they still want to be heard and seen by their partners. She shared with Entertainment Weekly:
"People want to be seen not just as the wife and mother, they want to be seen as the woman that they are, and they still have dreams and they still have goals..."
Although the "A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood" actress has yet to be married, she was once engaged to Jaime Lincoln Smith. He popped the question in 2019 after creating a ruse that they were visiting a festival.
Watson announced the engagement with a since-deleted Instagram post of herself wearing an oval sapphire diamond ring, which she captioned "Forever Ever" along with a short poem about love.
Later, Watson gushed to Entertainment Tonight about her excitement for her upcoming nuptials. She added that she knew nothing about being married, so she asked married people to share what they learned about married life.
Unfortunately, the couple did not say their "I dos" as they broke up a year later. In November 2020, Watson revealed on her Instagram Story she was single while celebrating President Joe Biden election win:
"And I thought becoming Single was gonna be the only eventful thing to happen to me this year #TwentyTwenty."
Although many other new singles might turn to a dating app to find a new partner, Watson admitted on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that dating apps are not for her.
While speaking to guest host tWitch, the "Rumble" voice actress admitted she did not understand why men choose bad pictures of themselves for their dating profiles.
She explained she was not good at picking through the pictures and would not use dating apps. Instead, she needed to see a person face-to-face to know whether she was interested in them or not.
It looks Watson is in no rush to find a new man as she seems to be enjoying her single life and acting on "This Is Us." Her Instagram is filled with gorgeous photos on red carpets and clips for the show.
