While the actress has found happiness in her current man, she was married to Edwin Figueroa before. The two wedded in 1997, but after 11 years, they got divorced with no children between them.
The same year she split from her husband, the "Succession" actress met the director and writer George Valencia. They met while shooting "Glow Ropes: The Rise and Fall of a Bar Mitzvah Emcee," an award-winning film written and co-directed by Valencia.
Valencia is also well known for directing "Moment to Moment" and "LaGolda." Soon after their meeting, they started dating. A year later, they welcomed their only child together, Leila Rey.
To celebrate the imminent arrival of her baby girl, the actress threw a 'Berry Sweet’-themed baby shower, attended by some of her closest friends, including Lisa Vidal and Zoe Saldana.
The party was held at the Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, California, and had a beautiful ocean view. Besides the laughter, good food, and plenty of belly rubs, the actress also surprised her guests with fantastic gift bags worth over $400 from Jewels and Pinstripes.
The excited mother-to-be shared that being a first-time mom had left her navigating uncharted waters. Fortunately for her, she had a robust support system. Besides her boyfriend, she sought support from her two sisters, who were both mothers to 1-year-olds at the time.
The actress, who shared that she'd never been a baby person for fear of dropping or hurting them, welcomed her baby girl on November 27, 2009. The little girl weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 19 inches long.
But despite her nervousness at being a mom, the "Castle" actress went into full mother mode when her daughter arrived.
"I hope that she has perspective, a good sense of humor, patience, perseverance and that she really just hangs in there to do what she is passionate about. And has a dazzling smile like her mom!" An excited Reyes told People.
Fast forward, and the little girl is now 12 years old, and Reyes could not be prouder of how grown her baby girl is. She celebrated Rey's birthday with a beautiful tribute on her Instagram captioned:
"My sweet queen is 12 today! Happy birthday my Angel. You changed my life forever, and I couldn't be more grateful."
The actress loves sharing her beautiful family moments, such as cozy photos taken with her daughter and her partner, and fans cannot help but gush over how sweet the three look.
