On April 30, 2016, a 48-year-old North Dakota bartender received much-needed help from a couple after she engaged in a conversation with the sympathetic duo and some customers at the First and Last Chance Bar.

The kind gesture from the husband and wife left the woman in disbelief, as she had only heard about such acts and never experienced them. Here are more details about the bartender and the couple's generous act.

WEISGERBER RAISES THE TRIPLETS ON HER OWN

Since they were two months old, Shiela Weisgerber, a grandmother from Lisbon, North Dakota, raised her four-year-old triplet grandsons, Bentley, Dalton, and Ashton.

The woman's daughter, a 30-year-old single mother, already had a toddler and could not cope with taking care of three children. In addition, the boys' father had passed away from a car crash some months before. During an interview with ABC News, Weisgerber said:

"She tried to do it, and when the boys were two months, she said she couldn't do it, so I stepped in and offered to raise the boys."

In the beginning, raising the triplets was very overwhelming for the grandmother, but eventually, she was glad for the opportunity to watch her grandsons grow. Weisgerber confessed that she would do it again if given the chance.

WEISGERBER RECEIVES A HUGE SURPRISE

The North Dakota native's love for her grandsons was so much that she would often tell her customers about them since she started the job in October 2015. Finally, on April 30, 2016, her kind words about the triplets landed her some help.

The bartender talked to some customers about her family when a couple overheard her. Weisgerber told ABC News that the duo was stunned to learn that her grandsons were triplets. So, the husband and wife did something nice with the information.

In addition to their $33 tab, they left an enormous tip of $300 for Weisgerber and a note that said, "Take care of those boys!!" The bartender could not believe her eyes. she said:

"I was in disbelief at first. I looked at it, and I looked at it again. You read stuff about it, and you hear about it, and you wonder, 'Is that really true? Do people really do that?"

WHAT HAPPENED AFTERWARDS?

After Weisgerber realized it was real, she went to the bathroom and cried hard. Indeed, she was touched by the couple's generosity.

Afterward, the grandmother took to Facebook to share her story. The kindness of the pair touched a lot of people, including the bar owner, Dave Cole Jr.

He revealed that many terrible things had been happening, but the generosity made everyone in the bar brighten up. Also, the pair's act made him believe that good people still exist.

Hopefully, Weisgerber's story inspires everyone to show love and kindness to people, no matter how little.
