Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met in 2016, and after a few months, their relationship became public, and she became a person of interest for the tabloids.

At the time, Prince Harry's life in the spotlight wasn't good for his relationships. When his then girlfriend's life became a subject of scrutiny for the press, even the Prince became afraid.

He was scared that she would dump him and that he could lose her. Here are all the details of Prince Harry's past relationships and marriage.

Once Markle became a topic for the press, Harry stepped in and issued a furious statement in her defense. This move made some people criticize him while others hailed his courage.

There were claims that Harry demanded that his office condemn the excesses of the media because he was panicking and afraid that Markle would break up with him.

A source said because the palace was not doing anything to support Markle, Harry had to step in. Another source revealed that Harry said,

"She's going to dump me."

Even though his statement was an unusual palace practice, and Buckingham Palace and Clarence House were unhappy about it, Harry's fears came from his experience with the press in previous relationships.

When he dated Chelsy Davy, the media attempted to access her medical records to investigate if she had any sexually transmitted disease.

In addition, the press coverage on the Royal family, especially when Prince William and Catherine Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, went on tour with their baby, Prince George, led to his breakup with Cressida Bonas.

Bonas was utterly shocked and said she never wanted that sort of attention. Harry failed to convince Bonas that they could make it work, which ended their relationship.

Bonas and Harry met in 2012 after Princess Eugenie introduced them. Their connection was instantaneous, and they started dating.

Months later, Harry's nude photographs made the press. Bonas wanted to end their relationship because of the humiliation. Shortly after, he was deployed to Afghanistan, leaving their relationship hanging in the balance.

Even though Harry asked Bonas to wait for him, she hated all the press attention associated with dating him. After dating for two years, Bonas called off the relationship.

On July 27, 2020, Bonas married the estate agent Harry Wentworth-Stanley, son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven, in a low-key ceremony at the exclusive Cowdray Park, in Midhurst, West Sussex.

For Bonas, their lockdown wedding meant not celebrating the moment with all of their families and friends, but they made an imperfect moment perfect.

In August 2021, there were speculations that Bonas was pregnant after she posted a picture where she was perusing the children's section at the bookstore.

Davy and Harry met in Cape Town in 2004 and began an on-off relationship for seven years. She grew up in Zimbabwe, and their relationship raised eyebrows because she was an unexpected choice of romantic partner for Harry.

Besides being an outsider in British high society, even though she moved to England when she was 15, she was also seen as a "party girl" by the press.

In 2011, after seven years of trying to make it work, they called it quits and moved on. Davy disappeared from the limelight and focused on her career.

She was an associate at a top international law firm, and in 2014, she left the company to start her dream project in jewelry by creating and launching her brand in 2016.

In 2020, Davy hinted that she was in a new relationship after many failed ones. The press later revealed her partner to be the British hotelier, Sam Cutmore-Scott.

Shortly after, the press also revealed that Davy, who lived happily with her partner in Chiswick, was pregnant, hid the pregnancy, and gave birth to a baby named Leo.

In an interview with BetterUp, Harry revealed that he almost lost Markle after a shocking argument because of his psychological problems.

He also admitted that some days were good, and he also had "hard days" that made him kick himself for making wrong decisions when he should have known better.

At the beginning of their relationship, Markle had told him that he needed to see someone in reaction to an argument. He quickly realized that his childhood fears were holding him captive.

Harry said he saw GPs, doctors, therapists, and alternative therapists because he wanted to fix himself and not lose Markle. His therapist confirmed he was reverting to his 12-year-old self by his second session.

Following articles published in 2019, Markle sued the Associated Newspapers for invasion of privacy and copyright infringement. In 2021, the Court of Appeal ruled in favor of Markle.

In May 2019, the couple welcomed their son Archie, and by October of 2019, they decided to step back from their active royal roles.

In March 2020, the couple moved to the United States, and by July 2020, they bought a nine-bedroom mansion in California while signing various partnership deals.

The property features a spa, tennis court, private playground for their children, with the couple's suite featuring the bedroom, a dressing room, outdoor terrace, and an en-suite bathroom.

Markle has a home office featuring a rustic wooden desk, cream dining room-styled chairs, and a traditional fireplace. Trees, including pines and cypresses, frame their garden, and they also have a pool and a wine cellar in their mansion.

In June 2021, Harry and Markle welcomed their daughter Lilibet Diana at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.

Lilibet got her name from Her Majesty The Queen, her great-grandmother, and her middle name, Diana, honors her late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.

According to Harry and Markle, their daughter completed their family. They shared their first photo of Lilibet during the Christmas holiday in their 2021 family holiday card.

Alexi Lubomirski, the photographer who photographed them as an engaged couple and on their wedding day, was the photographer who took the image for their holiday card.
