DOES KATE HAVE A BLACK AND WHITE DRESS?
Kate showed up on the red carpet with an off-the-shoulder all-black dress with a white bandeau neckline. The dress, known as the Bardot dress, inherited its name from Brigitte Bardot, who added her twist on the style.
The French actress and fashion icon made the look a popular choice, and the trend never left fashion. The collarbone-baring neckline with sleeves is referred to as the Bardot, and it looks great on a dress, jumpsuit, or blouse.

HOW DOES KATE MIDDLETON CHANGE HER DRESSES?
Kate has always been big on fashion, and this is not the first time she has had to alter her dress so that it could fit in her royal wardrobe. She has mastered the art of adjusting her outfits to suit current trends.
The Duchess, whose style has evolved, often makes changes to give a more conservative, classier, smarter, and modest look when she steps out.
Kate would add more fabric to cover the sheer for outfits with sheer parts. She would sometimes recycle old attires by changing up the style of the sleeves.
The lover of Alexander McQueen's dresses once altered a dress she wore in 2012 when she repeated it in 2020. In 2020, she added a lining and adapted the sleeves to flatter her figure while also adding shoulder pads to create a more structured look.
