Congratulations are in order as Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Eloise Christina.

The couple announced the excellent news on their Instagram accounts but have yet to show a glimpse of their newborn's face. Eloise is Schwarzenegger's second child and Pratt's third child, adding to their firstborn, Lyla, and the actor's son, Jack.

Dating rumors about Pratt and Schwarzenegger began in 2018 after they were spotted having a picnic together in Santa Barbara, California. The pair reportedly met through Schwarzenegger's mom, Maria Shriver.

A source also revealed that the two had been in constant communication and "really liked each other." The insider added:

"Chris is smitten by Katherine and is super happy about how it's going so far."

Pratt would join his girlfriend's family for meals in the months that came. They joined Arnold Schwarzenegger and his girlfriend, Heather Milligan, for breakfast in November.

In January 2019, the couple announced their engagement through social media. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star said:

"Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!"

On June 8, 2019, the couple tied the knot during an intimate ceremony at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. The private event had their close friends and family in attendance to celebrate one of the best days of their lives together.

It did not take long before the pair welcomed their first child. In August 2020, Schwarzenegger gave birth to Lyla Maria and gave fans a glimpse of their little child's hands.

The couple has since spoken highly of each other through interviews and Instagram posts. According to Pratt, he loves many things about his wife, such as "her smile, her patience, her fortitude, her devotion as a mother, as a wife; her faith."

The "Gift of Forgiveness" author also praised her husband in an interview, calling him the best support system and an "amazing gift to have."

While the couple shares two kids, with the recent birth of another daughter, Pratt already had a son during his first marriage with Anna Faris.

The couple announced their split a few years after Jack's birth, explaining that they tried to make their relationship work for a while but arrived at the decision to go separate ways.
