KJ Apa famously stars as Archie in the hit television series "Riverdale." Although his on-screen character has his eyes set on someone on the show, Apa is in a happy relationship in real life.

This week's "Riverdale" episode had fans with mixed emotions over the intense happenings between Betty and Archie and her encounter with an American psycho, the Trash Bag Killer (TBK).

Interestingly, the episode also featured songs from American Psycho in what seemed like a musical episode centered on TBK.

Although TBK ended up dead, his arrival brought out Betty's different feelings that almost pushed Archie away. KJ Apa plays the talented main character, Archie, on the show, and while he may have his eyes on Betty, he is already taken in real life.

DOES KJ APA HAVE A CHILD?

Apa became a father at 24 and announced the arrival of his son on September 26, 2021. The actor shares his firstborn with his girlfriend, Clara Berry, who also announced their baby's arrival on Instagram. She penned a sweet tribute, writing:

"Sasha Vai Keneti Apa, born on the 23rd of September. He is a perfect perfection. I am the luckiest to have now two men of my life, filling my heart with this cosmic gigantic vast love.”

Months before, in May, Berry also announced her pregnancy with photos of her baby bump. Apa also shared the news with a picture of his girlfriend, showing her stomach, while sitting on a couch.

Although they did not confirm the pregnancy through captions, the Apa left a comment on Berry's post, noting that she was indeed pregnant with his child. "She's pregnant btw," he wrote in the comments section.

The couple's post caused several "Riverdale" co-stars to send their congratulations, including Charles Melton and Madelaine Petsch. Actress Ianna Sarkis also welcomed the couple into parenthood alongside her congratulations.

WHO IS KJ APA'S GIRLFRIEND?

Speculation about Apa and Berry's relationship first surfaced on the internet in 2019 when they started liking each other's photos on Instagram. Still, only in February 2020 did they become Instagram official with a sweet photo posted on the platform.

Unlike Apa, Berry is not an actress. She is a model, working for Louis Vuitton and Bimba Y Lola brands. She also modeled for Tommy Hilfiger, Viktor & Rolf, and Off-White while signed with modeling agency Present Model Management.

The pair has since posted photos of each other on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the different milestones they reached together.

Despite being in a committed relationship, Apa maintained close friendships with his female "Riverdale" co-stars, including Camila Mendes.

In fact, one of Apa's posts showed how the two are comfortable with each other, even acting like siblings on set. In the snap, Mendes' entire fist unusually fit inside Apa's mouth. "Last year, I fit @camimendes entire fist down my throat. What can we do this year to top it?" he asked fans on Instagram.

Their sweet dynamics in real life perhaps allow the show's stars to portray their characters well on-screen. Fans undoubtedly can't wait to see more of their favorite characters on "Riverdale" in the upcoming episodes.
