In a recent and exclusive interview for Hello Magazine, actor Kevin Bacon opened up about the special bond with his rarely-seen son Travis Bacon. The interview took place at "Space Oddity" premiere on June 12, 2022, as Kyra Sedgwick made her directorial debut.

The movie, which premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Festival, starred Kevin Bacon with his son Travis Bacon working on the music. Kevin Bacon revealed that with him and his son being musicians, they naturally bond over music.

While giving a shoutout to his son, Kevin also stated that they had collaborated on amazing stuff in music. The "Mystic River" actor said:

"They support us and we support them. We all work together in different kinds of capacities."

Besides working with his son, Travis, Kevin has worked with his daughter, Sosie. He also talked about being directed by his wife and called her a fantastic director. Kevin revealed that they all work together because they love the creative process and not because they are a family.

Even though his parents tried to shield him from the Hollywood spotlight during his upbringing, Travis, born in June 1989, works in the entertainment scene. His Instagram page shows he is a producer, composer, musician, and switch with his band, Contracult Collective.

He is heavily invested in heavy metal and punk, which is also reflected in his looks. Travis is also an audio engineer and songwriter who plays guitar for the black metal band Black Anvil.

Kevin is a proud dad and does not hesitate to gush about fatherhood. The "Footloose" actor once said:

"The proudest accomplishment of my life is my children. Being a parent [means] bringing them up and trying to teach them and have them learn by example to be good, decent, compassionate, hardworking people."

However, he has not always been the perfect dad. Kevin left his son in the car on his first father's day. He revealed that he and his wife had locked the newborn in the car. The keys were also in the car, and the motor was running.

He said they were new parents, and it was hard, and they panicked. Luckily, a guy in the garage helped them out by putting his fist through the window and breaking into the car.

Sosie is Kevin's second child, born in March 1992. The "Mare of Easttown" actress got her first acting role at ten in "Loverboy," a movie directed by her father, which also starred her mother.

Sosie got her big break when she starred as Skye Miller in "13 Reasons Why." In 2014, they crowned her the Miss Golden Globe. Like her brother Travis, the "Narcos: Mexico" star can also sing and has performed in an off-Broadway pop-rock musical.
