Bob Saget passed away five months ago, and now that his life and legacy are being honored, fans have grown curious about those he left behind. This time, the focus is on Sherri Kramer, his high school sweetheart with whom he welcomed three kids.

Five months after the sudden demise of beloved comedian Bob Saget, his legacy was honored with a posthumous Impact Award at the Fourth Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards in Los Angeles.

It is a career accomplishment trophy gifted to entertainers with a long history of achievements in nonfiction, unscripted, and reality TV.

His old friend and "Full House" costar John Stamos presented the honor at the Fairmont Century Plaza. His wife, Kelly Rizzo, was present at the event to accept the award on behalf of the late comedian, who passed away on January 9 at age 65.

At the event, Rizzo told PEOPLE that the honor would have made Saget very proud. She praised his contributions as host of "America's Funniest Home Videos," calling him one of the "pioneers in the reality TV world."

She also mentioned how surreal it was that he was absent, revealing that "it still doesn't feel right" but that all she and anyone else can do is celebrate him and the legacy he left behind.

WAS BOB SAGET MARRIED?

Bob Saget made the walk down the aisle twice in his lifetime. The first person the talented show host got married to was a woman named Sherri Kramer, 65.

The pair met when he was 17 years old and were famously known as high school sweethearts before they tied the knot in 1982.

As husband and wife, they welcomed three children before going their separate ways in 1997. Their first child was named Aubrey, and they welcomed her in 1987, while the second, Lara Melanie, was born in 1989, followed by their third, Jennifer Belle Saget, who arrived in 1992.

According to The Sun, Sherri filed the divorce papers in Los Angeles Superior Court and cited irreconcilable differences.

The woman reportedly has a law license that she hasn't used for years and is currently working as a marriage and family therapist.

Outside that, she is also known to work as a screenwriter and author; her net worth is estimated at around $1 million. Since their divorce, Kramer has kept a relatively low profile, but she still lives in California, where she has a home worth about $3.5 million.

HOW DID BOB SAGET DIE?

In March, police records that chronicled Bob Saget's death were revealed, and his family attorney Brian H. Bieber confirmed that the reports perfectly represented an extensive buildup of the events leading up to his death.

In his statement, Bieber claimed that Saget passed away after hitting his head during a fall in his hotel room. The cause of death had been under speculation since the medical examiner revealed that he died after suffering head trauma.

Since it was revealed the trauma came from the fall, the Saget family requested that they be allowed the privacy to mourn in peace. RIP Bob.
