Well, the answer is yes! On May 19, 2022, the HBO Cable network announced they would renew the series for its fourth season.

According to reports, production will begin in June 2022, and Hader will direct all eight episodes of the new season. This is the first time the director will be taking on such a massive task for an entire season of "Barry."

In the first three seasons, the Hollywood icon directed only nine episodes. However, Hader has been able to do a fantastic job with help from his co-creator, Alec Berg, Executive Producers Aida Rodgers and Liz Sarnoff, and Producer Julie Camino.

The show has been a hit with 29 Emmy nominations and six wins from the first two seasons. Two of the six awards went to Hader in 2018 and 2019 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Hader is best known as a writer, producer, director, and actor. His career skyrocketed in 2005 when he became a cast member of the comedy show "Saturday Night Live." The icon remained a regular face on the show for a few years before leaving in 2013.

Other productions the TV personality has featured in include "Trainwreck," "Superbad," "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs," and "It Chapter Two."

Besides being a movie icon, there are other surprising aspects of Hader's personal life that the public remains oblivious to.

For example, the comedian has royal blood. Hader is a distant relative of Charlemagne and a descendant of King Edward I of England.

Another surprising fact about the actor is that he does not use social media. Although Hader is one of the most remarkable men in Hollywood, he loves privacy, and as such, he has no social media accounts.

Besides the details mentioned above, Hader has other less known facts about him, such as having a peanut allergy, being a college dropout, and not being a fan of Justin Bieber.

Although Hader prefers to keep his personal life away from the public eye, he has recently been in the news due to his romance with Anna Kendrick. The lovebirds first met on the set of the Christmas movie "Noelle."

However, it took a while for the duo to start dating. By January 2022, a source revealed to People that Hader and Kendrick had been romantically involved for over a year but decided to keep it low-key.

"They are both very private people, and with the pandemic, it was easy to keep it quiet. They're both hysterical, so they must keep each other laughing all of the time. She's really, really happy," the source revealed.

Regarding the reason for his privacy about his love life, Hader has confessed that he wants to protect his daughters' privacy. According to the icon, his girls just want him to be their dad, and that is what he does.
