‘Léon: The Professional’ Star Jean Reno Is Still Active at 73: Inside His Life and Career
Jean Reno from "Leon: The Professional" is now 73 years old, but he still remains active. The man is responsible for breathing life into the most iconic villains known to the movie world, but what has he been up to?
Jean Reno achieved fame in his mid-40s when he starred as a gauche contract killer named Leon in "Leon: The Professional." Since then, the talented actor has appeared in several other projects, many of which he played the villain.
One of the most recent movies that saw him play the baddie role is "The Doorman," a martial arts film that sees a heist being carried out within the walls of a New York hotel.

The story was a great one, but Reno especially loved that he could once more play the villain. Other movies that have seen the Morrocan native act as the bad guy include "Rollerball," "Alex Cross," and "Da 5 Bloods."

Reno was born Juan Moreno y Herrera-Jiménez in Morocco, and his parents were Spaniards. He moved to France at 17 when his mom died and joined the army for a short period to attain citizenship.

After getting discharged, he traveled to Paris with 100 francs in his pocket and registered in theater school, where he was groomed to become an actor, using a Frenchified version of his name.
After some time, he started bagging international roles, sometimes in blockbusters like "Godzilla" and "Mission: Impossible" or in cult favorites like "Léon: The Professional."

He has been married three times and has six kids, one of whom he named Sandra. Of all his children, she was the only one who chose to follow in his footsteps as an actress.
His current wife is an actress named Zofia Borucka. The pair married on July 29, 2006, and have two kids together, both boys.
Reno is most famous for playing Leon in "Leon: The Professional," but he has also starred in blockbusters, including the politically charged "Da 5 Bloods" put together by Spike Lee.

Perhaps what makes him stand out the most is that he is known to have featured in both Hollywood and France movie climes over the years.
Some of the famous french movies he has participated in include "The Big Blue" (1988) and "Les Visiteurs" ("The Visitors") in 1993.

JEAN RENO IS STILL ACTIVE AS AN ACTOR AT 73: WHAT IS HE DOING NOW?
Reno has enjoyed long years of fame as an actor with more than 50 films under his belt. At 73, the talented actor still remains very much active on the acting scene. In 2021, he was recruited by Amanda Sthers for the English-language romantic drama "Promises," which was set in Italy and London,
He has also lent his talent to making "The Doorman" a success. Acting is something Reno loves doing, and he has given his all to the profession. Fans can be assured they will still get to see him in action several more times.
