VIN DIESEL'S TWIN BROTHER PAUL LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HIS FAMOUS BROTHER: ALL WE KNOW ABOUT HIM

Born on July 18, 1967, Vin Diesel and his fraternal twin brother, Paul Vincent, were born in Alameda County, California. They grew up in an artist's housing complex in New York City's Greenwich Village.

They were brought up by their mother, Delora Sherleen, an astrologer and psychologist, and their father, Irving H. Vincent, an acting instructor and theater manager.

The twins' adoptive father is African-American, while their mother is Caucasian with English, German, Scottish, and Irish ancestry. Vin said he is "certainly a person of color," referring to his biological father's origins.

Besides recognizing Irving's race, the "Fast Five" actor also used his step-father's last name as his on-screen name. "Vin" is a shortened version of Irving's family name.

Meanwhile, Vin's second nickname, Diesel, was a word play for diesel fuel. When he was a teen, his friends gave him the moniker because of his energetic personality.

Vin looks nothing like his brother. In a Facebook post on March 22, 2014, Vin shared an uncanny photo of Paul smiling beside the later actor Paul Walker, along with a lengthy message which read:

"Pablo and my mother would have deep conversations... she claimed that it was no accident that this on-screen duo has come to define brotherhood in Our millennium."

In another photo, Paul has hair, a beard, and a slim physique, all of which his twin brother lacks. Vin is well-known for his bald head and athletic body.

Vin has two other siblings besides Paul: sister Samantha and brother Tim.

While they have quite a few similarities, Vin and Paul have led very different lives. While Vin is used to living and working in the spotlight, his non-famous twin brother chooses to live a private life.

In contrast to his renowned twin brother, Paul works as an editor and producer behind the scenes. He previously worked as a sound editor on Vin's 1995 short film "Multi-Facial."

APART FROM PAUL, VIN DIESEL ALSO HAS ANOTHER BROTHER AND SISTER

Vin has two other siblings besides Paul: sister Samantha and brother Tim. Tim has since maintained a secluded life, while Samantha works as a producer.

Samantha worked on Vin's previous films, including "Riddick" and "Fast Five." In 2018, she earned the Bronze Lens Film Festival's Vanguard Superstar Award for her contributions to the film industry.
