"Rupert's completely in love," said author William Shawcross, one of the Murdoch's oldest friends. Another stated that the couple's marriage worked out well since Hall isn't much of a "First Lady" figure, which Murdoch preferred.

Hall is an independent lady who is not easily swayed by riches. According to The Washington Post, Hall said she does not want to be "bossed around" because she has her own money.

RUPERT MURDOCH WASN'T THE FIRST FAMOUS MAN JERRY HALL LOVED

Of the many men he dated, Hall was deeply in love with English singer Mick Jagger, one of the founding members of the iconic rock band Rolling Stone. Their relationship lasted for 22 years.

They tied the knot in 1990 in Bali, Indonesia, but they split after Jagger had a child with another woman. After reaching an agreement, they were reportedly awarded an "annulment."

When Hall married Murdoch, Jagger was allegedly unhappy with their union. The rockstar reportedly disliked the idea of Murdoch becoming part of his extended family.

Amid Jagger disliking Hall's marriage to Murdoch, his children - Georgia May, Elizabeth, James, and Gabriel, all attended the wedding ceremony.
