Jodie Sweetin Who Divorced 3 Times Is Engaged & a Proud Mom of 2 Yet Admits Motherhood Is 'Not Always Easy'
After three divorces and a tumultuous engagement, Hollywood's Jodie Sweetin has found love again and is ready for a fourth walk down the aisle. She also has the love and support of her two daughters.
Jodie Sweetin grew up right before the public eye, being part of the beloved TV Tanner family. While her life on screen seemed perfect and full of life, her real life was plagued by vices, and as she got older, she became even more removed from the ideal TV family she had.
As a young adult, Sweetin stopped being the young middle child, Stephanie Tanner, on "Full House" and became a married woman at the age of 20. She fell in love with and married LA police officer Shaun Holguin.

After four years of marital life, Sweetin and Holguin called it quits. She once revealed that her drug issues plagued her marriage. Sweetin stated that she started using drugs when she was 14.
Amid her marriage and the tumultuous end, she had been in rehab. She met film transportation coordinator Cody Herpin in 2007. They wed in the same year at Nevada and welcomed their daughter, Zoie Laurel May Herpin, the following year.
While she was married to Cody, Sweetin's addiction issues were still imminent. She relapsed a few months after giving birth to Zoie and filed for divorce in November 2008. Their separation was finalized in 2010.
The "Fuller House" star walked down the aisle a third time with DJ and actor Morty Coyle. The pair met in 2009 and were engaged in 2011. They tied the knot the following year in a Beverly Hills ceremony.
Like her first two, Sweetin's third marriage came crashing down. The actress filed for divorce in 2013, and it was finalized in 2015. She and Morty welcomed their daughter, Beatrix Carlin Sweetin-Coyle.
The divorce settlement split their fortunes, while Sweetin also had to share her "Fuller House" earnings. The couple's custody arrangement had them sharing legal and physical custody of Beatrix.
Sweetin was further required to pay Morty $10,000 in addition to splitting her earnings. The pair also took drug tests to ensure they both stayed clean while wielding joint custody.
She was required to pay $2,800 monthly in child support, which she contended in 2021. The TV actress stated that the novel coronavirus pandemic affected her work, and she would not be able to remit the same amount any longer, but Morty refuted her claims.
By the time her third divorce was finalized, she was in a relationship with Justin Hodak. However, she and Hodak did not turn out well. Sweetin's daughters witnessed two of their mom's broken marriages and a rocky engagement.
The duo was engaged when she and Hodak decided to go their separate ways. Hodak also caused some drama as he threatened to release embarrassing pictures of his ex.
Sweetin made his threat known to the public, stating that she just wanted to protect her daughters. She also demanded a restraining order against Hodak. Now, in her early 40s, Jodie is a mom of two, and she hasn't given up on finding love.
The former child star is presently engaged to Mescal Wasilewski, a therapist for catalyst recovery. The duo announced their engagement in January 2022 and debuted their relationship on Instagram in 2018.
Wasilewski's LinkedIn profile reads that he obtained a bachelor's degree from California State University and a master's degree in social work from Hunter College. He stated in his profile that he has worked in the field of addiction and mental health for 16 years.
INSIDE SWEETIN'S LIFE AS A MOM
The "Hogan Family" star might not have had a lovely relationship with her previous lovers, but she has maintained a healthy and admirable relationship with her daughters. Sweetin and her girls enjoy social media and share content from time to time.
However, she has taught the girls not to be swayed by what they see on social media. Sweetin once revealed that she taught her daughters to be outspoken and be able to confide in her.

Zoie, who is Sweetin's first child, is in her teenage years and is her mom's absolute twin. Zoie has an Instagram account monitored by her mom, and Sweetin has revealed that she was proud of her daughter's content.
Sweetin is equally proud of her youngest daughter, Beatrix, who has also received social media praise from her mom. Whether it's a school recital or hangout session, Sweetin loves flaunting Beatrix's milestones.
Despite being on a happy-go-lucky motherhood journey, the "DWTS" star has admitted that motherhood is sometimes hard to deal with. For 2021 National Daughter's Day, she wrote on Instagram:
"Today is #nationaldaughtersday and I am so lucky to be a mom to Zoie and Bea. I know it's not always easy, and sometimes not fun … but watching my girls grow up is wonderful."
HOW SWEETIN'S DAUGHTERS ACCEPTED WASILEWSKI
Watching their mom go through stress and drama with her previous significant others, Zoie and Beatrix did not find it easy warming up to Wasilewski. However, Sweetin adopted a slow and friendly approach.
She and Wasilewski started their relationship as a long-distance affair, and she gradually introduced him to her daughters. The former child star also commended her man for letting the girls warm up to him without him forcing a relationship with them.
The star, who runs an awareness platform called "Never Thought I'd Say This," has been using the time to dispel the notion of perfect parenting. In an interview with Forbes, Sweetin shared that she never thought of being the perfect parent, as she only wanted to do her best.
When asked if she wanted her kids to become child stars or even walk in her path regarding their careers, Sweetin stated that she would give her full support.
However, she noted that she didn't think Zoie would be interested in Hollywood as she was already into sports. On the other hand, Beatrix was already showing signs of being a performer and had been enrolled in after-school drama classes.
