Owen Wilson Was Proven to Be Dad of 3-Year-Old Girl Yet Is 'Not Involved at All' in Her Life
"No Escape" star Owen Wilson skillfully charms his audience with his fatherly roles on screen. However, there seems to be an irony in his reality, and fans are curious to know if he is involved with his kids — especially his youngest and only daughter.
Very few Hollywood actors are successful when stereotyped, and Owen Wilson falls into this category. Throughout his career, the actor has featured in a wide range of comedy and tragedy films.
Some characters that have stood out in these onscreen delights include a son and father role. Wilson gave life to these characters, making it almost inevitable to see him as less compassionate in other films or reality.

Fans of the dashingly handsome, youthful actor remember his role in 2015's "No Escape," where Wilson, an engineer, relocates with his family to Asia following a company project.
Eventually, a coup broke out, and the lead character is saddled with the responsibility of protecting his wife and their two daughters, no matter the cost. Wilson's fatherly instinct also came alive in "Wonder," where he starred alongside Julia Roberts. The family was left to deal with their son's rare medical facial deformity.

Again, in "Father Figures," the winning star displayed his love for the family when he teamed up with his twin brother, played by Ed Helms. The pair searched for their biological dad after realizing that their mother had lied about his death.
Apart from immersing himself in these characters, the movie star is passionate about delivery and has a warm personality that impresses his co-stars. While reviewing their roles in "Father Figures," Helms commended Wilson's friendliness and receptive attitude.
Similarly, Wilson also enjoyed a good time with Helms and the entire cast. He explained that they (Wilson and Helms) were in sync immediately after shooting commenced, adding that:
"He's a very easy person to get along with, and I like to think I am, but then to get to the next level where you actually become friends."
Amid his seemingly brilliant personality on the big screens, fans are dying to know what Wilson is like as a real-life father— as the actor shares three kids with three different women!

The "Marry Me" star has never been married, but he has a history of dating famous faces. Interestingly, Wilson's romances have led him to become a father to three adorable kids, two sons and one daughter.
The actor welcomed his first child, Robert Ford, on January 14, 2011, in his Hawaiian estate, with his former girlfriend, Jade Duell. Duell, a former federal air marshal, police officer, and homeland security worker, met the "Marry Me" star in 2009 on a Los Angeles flight. They remained inseparable until 2011, a few months after their son's birth.
Wilson's second child is Finn Lindqvist, born on January 30, 2014, at Cedars Sinai. The "No Escape" star fell in love with Caroline Lindqvist, a personal trainer, in 2003, and they were involved in an unstable relationship.
Years later, Caroline married Ritu Chopra, a plastic surgeon, but she reestablished her friendship with Wilson in 2007. A few years later, she became pregnant — they had agreed to have a child without being in a relationship.

However, the personal trainer later divorced her husband once she realized she was pregnant. Since their son's birth, Caroline and Wilson have been co-parenting Finn amicably. According to her:
"Owen and I are two close friends having a baby together. We are really looking forward to it and can't wait to welcome our child at the end of January."
Ever since the delivery of his first son, Wilson has been faithful to his fatherly duties. In 2012, the "Wonder" star was photographed with his toddler son, Ford, at a farmer's market, and they were later joined by Ford's grandma, Laura.

In 2016, Ford was seen on an outing with his dad. The duo was pictured with huge smiles as they walked hand in hand during a Santa Monica shopping trip. Finn is also a beneficiary of his dad's warmness. In 2020, the father-of-three stepped out for a rare outing with his boys to a beach in Malibu.
Wilson is a great father and has always shared how amazing his boys are. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the actor gushed about how impressionable his second son is, adding that Ford calls the shots in the house. In his words:
"It's unbelievable. I mean, anything Ford says is just, like, the funniest thing ever, and I can make and joke and it's, like, crickets. It's like nothing from those guys."
The "Marry Me" star, who does not limit his bonding time to park outings or sporting events, confessed that he also takes pride in reading tales to his boys, which is one of the most fun times for the trio. According to Wilson:
"Sometimes telling the stories at night, you do take a little pride that these guys are into this story! One of them even said, 'Dad, you should do something with this. This is a really good story!'"
WILSON'S RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS DAUGHTER
Wilson's last child is with Varunie Vongsvirates, whom he dated casually for five years. However, while he is a proud father to his sons, Vongsvirates claims that the actor is not in contact with their daughter, Lyla.
In 2019, Vongsvirates revealed that her former lover has never met or been involved with Lyla since her birth. She added that he acknowledges her by sorting out their finances, but,
"Lyla needs a father. It's ironic how [Owen] keeps getting these father roles, he's playing a father in his new movie, and he's never met his own daughter."
Despite the time they spent together as lovers, Wilson demanded a paternity test and refused to meet his daughter when she was born in 2018. Following the confirmation from the paternity test, he still avoided the child.
According to court documents, the actor does not want custody of Lyla, who is his spitting image. Neither the paternity test, similarities to his child, nor his ex-lover's claims have been enough to get a statement from the actor.
However, he continues to share insights into fatherhood with his sons. On the other hand, Lyla's mom is as supportive as possible and has never gotten tired of sharing photos of her adorable toddler.
