Olivia Munn's Plastic Surgery Rumors: A Look at Her before and after Photos
Although cosmetic procedures in Hollywood are common and broadly accepted, some internet trolls have criticized Olivia Munn's plastic surgery even though she's never had one.
"The Newsroom" star Olivia Munn's physical appearance is stunning, and she has her ethnic background to thank for it. Her mom is of Chinese ancestry, and her dad's family has deep roots in the American South.
Over the years, people have seen subtle changes in Munn's face, leading them to believe she's had plastic surgeries. Read on to learn the reasons behind her different looks, including her love for Japanese potatoes.

CHANGES IN OLIVIA MUNN'S EYES AND EYEBROWS
The most noticeable changes in Munn's face are around her eyes. Her eyebrows look much higher than before, but in a since-deleted Instagram post from February 2016, the former "Attack of the Show!" host explained how she changed her appearance.
Munn posted before-and-after photos with a one-year difference, and a few netizens took to the comment section to say they could barely recognize her.

One Instagram user claimed she looked like a younger version of Cher, while another person wrote that she probably had a nose job done.
However, Munn wrote in her post's caption that she liked researching natural, healthy, and accessible ways to prevent her skin from rapidly aging and shared the results with her fans. About her brows, Munn said she just reshaped them.
The "X-Men: Apocalypse" star confessed she used to believe her eyebrows had to have a high arch. That changed after a facialist told her she kept shaping them into a frown. Munn wrote:
"I let the top of my brows grow in (which is never fun because it looks spotty for a few weeks), and then I plucked the bottom."
It might sound like a small change with little implications in her look, but it gave her brows a more horizontal angle that brightened her eyes.

DID OLIVIA MUNN GET CHEEK IMPLANTS AND A NOSE JOB?
Munn's cheeks and nose also look different. Due to her facial fat, her cheeks had a soft angle. Over the years, they looked more defined and prominent, which has led people to believe that she probably got cheek implants.
Internet trolls labeled her alleged plastic surgery as a "shame."
In the previously mentioned Instagram post, Munn addressed her cheeks. She explained that, while training for the "X-Men: Apocalypse" film, she lost 12 pounds and kept them off by working out for an hour a few times a week.

Losing all those pounds "leaned out" her cheeks and jawline, which is why they looked different. Munn added that exercising regularly also increased blood flow to her face and kept it from aging.
Although the changes in her nose are not as evident, fans suspect that she had a cosmetic procedure to raise its bridge and shape. Munn maintains she has not had plastic surgery.
OLIVIA MUNN'S LIP FILLER CONTROVERSY
Munn's physical appearance made headlines again in February 2018 after attending Variety, WWD, and CFDA's Runway to Red Carpet event at the Chateau Marmont in Las Vegas.
People noticed she had a plumper smile and claimed she had lip fillers. Internet trolls labeled her alleged plastic surgery as a "shame," but she cleared up the mystery on Instagram.
Munn removed her makeup and explained that her lip volume resulted from makeup artist Mary Phillips' impressive overlining skills.
OLIVIA MUNN'S BEAUTY SECRET
The most unusual piece of information Munn has shared about her ageless look is her love for Japanese potatoes. The "Six" star said she learned about Yuzurihara, Japan, after watching a news report.
Munn said that citizens of the "City of Long Life" had no wrinkles on their faces even though they were in their 80s and 90s and did hard labor four or five hours a day.
They looked that way because they ate plenty of root and sweet potatoes rich in hyaluronic acid, so she included them in her diet.
Olivia Munn's plastic surgery controversies might never end, but she has been critical of people's judgment on women's looks. If a woman looks bad, she should cover up, but if she looks good, she must have had a cosmetic procedure. "It's unfair," Munn concluded.
