Loudon and Bauer made their relationship public on July 21, 2014, when they attended the "Magic in the Moonlight" premiere at the Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood, California. Back then, he was 57, and she was 18.

She described herself on Twitter as a journalist, radio show host of "Sarcasm Overdose," and a film, music, and espresso addict. Loudon's bio now reads "branding, comms, marketing" among other titles.
