Forest Whitaker's brother, Kenn Whitaker, though often mistaken for his famous sibling, built an impressive career as an actor in his own right. Talent in the entertainment industry indeed runs in the Whitaker family.
Forest Whitaker is a celebrated Oscar-winning actor, producer, and honorary member of several charity organizations. He was born in Texas on July 15, 1961, and later moved to Southern California with his family; in college, he nearly went a completely different direction as a football player but ended up studying drama and opera after an injury left him on the bench.
His decision to take the artistic route gave us his famous Academy-Award-winning performance of dictator Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland." However, he has acted in many memorable films and series, with 136 credits to his name.

These include roles in "Good Morning, Vietnam," "Bird," "Godfather of Harlem," and many more. He eventually moved into producing and directing, taking on films such as "First Daughter" and "Waiting to Exhale."
Forest is not the only one in his family in show business. His brothers, Kenn and Damon Whitaker, have also made their mark in the entertainment industry.

Many people tend to mix up Forest Whitaker with his brother Kenn, and there are many Tweets to prove this ongoing confusion. One person tweeted:
"Now….why didn’t I know Forest Whitaker had a bother named Kenn Whitaker that’s been playing in some of these movies I thought he was in?"
Another person wrote: "Forest Whitaker & Kenn Whitaker aren't the same person .🤨 🤨 🤨 🤨 🤨 ." While the brothers appear similar, some may even call them twins; they are born two years apart, with Kenn as the younger brother.

According to IMDb, Kenn has seven credits to his name. He has acted in the films "Last Days," "The Theory of the Leisure Class," "Life," "Bulworth, " and "Most Wanted."
Kenn also played parts in the series "Party of Five" and "Tracey Takes On..." He contributed to the soundtrack of the movie "Strapped" with his song, "I Ain't Goin' Nowhere," which he wrote and performed. However, he hasn't been involved in any films in recent years.

Damon Whitaker was born in Los Angeles County on October 21, 1970. Like his brothers, he is deeply invested in the film industry known for "First Daughter," " Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai," and "Mr. Holland's Opus."
When it comes to the dramatic arts, this brother is a renaissance man, with his LinkedIn Profile describing him as a "Writer, Actor, Producer, Director, and liver of life." He is a partner at Beatscore PRO, which helps people find music that suits their films, and an Execute Producer of Bruin Lake Films.
Damon was once asked why he became an actor. He expressed: "I can't help it. I was raised in the arts, so my family's always been writing and painting and acting and singing... this is natural for us."

Damon is not the only one who shares a talent for entertainment with his siblings. Grammy Award-winning Macy Gray's brother Nathon McIntyre has gained more attention recently after playing the hero in the series "Queer Eye."
