Annie Guest, Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter, has been walking beside her mother at red carpet events since childhood. But how much is known about the star's daughter? Here is her intriguing story.

A child of divorce, the "Scream Queen" Jamie Lee Curtis boasts over three decades of marriage to "Spinal Tap" vocalist Christopher Guest. In 1984 she saw a picture of him in Rolling Stone and immediately knew he was her future husband.

Initially, he didn't call back after she contacted his agent, leaving his future wife despondent. However, a few months later, after a strange series of events, the two said their I do's.

They went on to adopt two daughters, and the first was sister Annie Guest, Curtis. The "Freaky Friday" actress adopted Annie right after birth in December 1986. Annie has grown up to be a well-educated woman and a gifted dancer.

Curtis was so awe-struck by the experience of adopting Annie that it inspired her to write a book called "Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born." This book was the second of two that Annie had inspired her to write; the first is "When I Was Little: A Four-Year-Old's Memoir of Her Youth."

When she grew up, Annie went on to study at Kenyon College, where she graduated with a BFA In Dance and is now a professional dancer. While studying, she concentrated on honing her ballet dancing and her classical and contemporary dance technique.

She now works as a feature team director for a Los Angeles company, the MNR Dance Factory. She teaches many movement styles such as ballet, modern, tap, hip-hop, and more.

Annie also works with ASD dancers and individuals with development or motor disorders. All of these duties are among many other imperative tasks she takes on at the company.

Annie is also married to Jason Wolf; they tied the knot in July 2019, with Annie wearing a Zac Posen gown and pink umbrellas shading everyone from the sun. Beyond her spouse, she always has and will continue to have a solid yet different bond with her mother.

The two share a fantastic relationship bordering on best friends, with Curtis always bringing her daughter to red carpet events, the two having a penchant for coordinating ensembles. Curtis also shares many posts on social media of the many memories she and her daughter have created together.

The younger sister, Ruby, who Curtiz and her husband also adopted as an infant, was born in 1996; She grew up to become a video game editor. While growing up, she began questioning her identity when a transgender friend asked her what her gender was. In 2021, she spoke about this with People:

"When I was about 16, a friend of mine who is trans asked me what my gender was. I told them, 'Well, I'm male.' After, I'd dwell on the thought. I knew I was — maybe not Ruby per se, but I knew I was different. But I had a negative experience in therapy, so I didn't come out [as trans] immediately when I probably should have."

She stated that almost a decade later, following this interaction, she came out to her then-fiancé, who said they loved them for who they were. She and her husband, Kynthia, married on May 9, 2022, in the family's backyard with a World of Warcraft-themed ceremony.

In WoW cosplay, her mom officiated the wedding in full costume as Jaina Proudmoore, a sorceress from the online game franchise, a testament to her mother's acceptance and love of her daughter. Speaking about coming out as trans to her parents, Ruby expressed:

"It was scary — just the sheer fact of telling them something about me they didn't know...It was intimidating — but I wasn't worried. They had been so accepting of me my entire life."

While Jamie Lee Curtis said she loves her daughter as she is, the terminology has been a learning curve, and she does make mistakes. But, Ruby doesn't mind much and understands it is an adjustment.

Initially, when Ruby was so frightened of coming out, she let her parents know via text, after which her mom called immediately and admitted that she did cry during the exchange. However, the family was not in complete shock as there were signs.

Some include that before Ruby transitioned, she used the word "bisexual" to describe herself, which some thought was revealing. Ruby constantly chose female avatars in video games as well. When it came time to become the gender she is, Curtis looked on with awe and pride as her daughter transitioned into who she truly is.

In March 2022, Curtis shared a social media post for Ruby's 26th birthday. In the caption, the star vowed to use her right to freedom of speech and her vote to support her child and all children to help them live as they are. Ever-accepting her children, she also went on "The Jimmy Kimmel Show" and spoke proudly of her daughter's World of Warcraft wedding.
