"All Of Us" actor Alfonso Ribeiro did not think he'd find love again after his first marriage ended. Years later, he found his soulmate Angela Unrich and started a family in which he prides himself. He prioritizes his time with his wife and children over anything else.

Alfonso Ribeiro hit the spotlight in the early 80s. Still, many recognize him for playing Will Smith's preppy and politically conservative cousin, Carlton Banks, on the famed '90s sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

His signature dance moves made him even more popular among viewers and later won him a top spot on "Dancing with the Stars." However, even with his rising popularity, some people, such as his now-wife Angela Unkrich, still did not know who he was.

When the pair first met, Ribeiro, told Angela that he was a director, and Angela was bent on avoiding dating anyone in the entertainment industry. The actor's attempts to pursue her hit a brick wall as nothing could get Angela to go on a first date with him. She told Yahoo News:

Ribeiro did not give up easily and said he made his first, second, and third moves. Eventually, his persistence paid off, and Angela agreed to go on a date with him.

But here's the twist. Angela made the restaurant reservation intending to cut the date short so she could get away and back to the night's episode of "Grey's Anatomy." However, as the date progressed, she realized she did not want to leave.

By the end of the evening, they both had different views of each other. They decided to give love a chance, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Their first date led to a beautiful yacht proposal in Lake Tahoe, surrounded by their closest friends and Ribeiro's daughter Sienna from his first marriage to Robin Stapler. The actor shared the beautiful photo on his Facebook with the caption:

"Greatest day of my life."

Three months later, the love birds walked down the aisle. The "One on One" actor was excited about the prospects of a new chapter in his life and tweeted:

"Last night, I got married to the most incredible woman in the world."

Ribeiro found his soulmate in Angela, and life has never been the same. After their beautiful wedding in October 2012, they welcomed son Alfonso Jr., Anders, and daughter Ava. They also raise Sienna together.

Over the years, the actor has always appreciated his wife, referring to her as the best wife and friend. He loves and respects her for her love and patience with their children.

Marriage and fatherhood have been fantastic for the "In The House" star. But besides the fun part of it, the journey has taught him to prioritize. He disclosed that he does everything he can to ensure his family is with him on all his travels. He says:

"I feel it's incredibly important. We prioritize family. We prioritize each other."

He says that travel is an excellent way to educate his family on people and places. While one can learn a lot from books, nothing sticks with someone like a personal experience.

When the Coronavirus pandemic hit, the "America's Funniest Home Videos" host purchased an RV for his family to ease their travels. He says it is the best decision because even as the rest of the world remained confined to their homes, he could still travel with his family and maintain a homely feel.

Ribeiro and Angela know that theirs is a match made in heaven, and they do not take it for granted, evident by how much they appreciate each other on social media posts.

During their second anniversary, Ribeiro posted a tear-jerking commemoration of his wife, writing: "I'm so lucky to have you. You are the greatest wife, mother, and friend. I love you so much."

Then on their third anniversary, Angela paid tribute to her loving husband, referring to him as her love and best friend. She shared how proud she was of their family and what a joy and blessing it was to be his wife, adding:

"You are truly the greatest gift in my life."

DATE NIGHT WITH KIDS

While the actor never leaves his family behind on his travels, his family's company is not only limited to his journies. The actor also says that he ensures his little ones are with them on date nights as they are "truly the center of [his] life."

While most couples prefer to leave their children behind and enjoy a little time out for themselves, Ribeiro and Angela prefer to stay home with their kids during their date nights because the children keep their romance alive. From these habits, they have created a beautiful relationship with their kids.

Angela has not only created an unbreakable bond with her husband but also with Ribeiro's daughter Sienna. She described Sienna, who graduated high school in 2021, as a beautiful, intelligent, bright, insightful, and remarkable woman.

Wishing her stepdaughter a happy 19th birthday, Angela also asked the aspiring actress to stay true to herself and chase her dreams. "Sending you so much love on your 19th bday. Love you!!" She concluded.

Ribeiro is also a proud father and considers his daughter intelligent, passionate, motivated, and beautiful. He is also proud that she wants to follow in his acting footsteps and is currently "auditioning and working."

Parenting has been a priority in the "Things We Do For Love" actor's life. Instead of confining them to the classroom, he raises his family differently and uses personal experiences to educate them.

As aforementioned, traveling has been a massive part of their learning. So far, the family has visited Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Mesa Verde National Park, and the Grand Canyon, and they hope to travel even more in the future.

In traveling together, they have gotten closer as a family, and Ribeiro has become a more hands-on dad. "The idea I get to spend more time with my family, with the kids. It makes me that more proud of what we're able to do — my wife and I — as a family." He says.

Unlike most Hollywood stars who struggle with balancing careers and family life, Ribeiro appears intentional about his family and still upholds a career in the entertainment industry.
