The Trump siblings laid their dearest mother to rest at an Upper East Side Catholic church on July 20, 2022. Their father, Donald, and his third wife, Melania Trump, were at the ceremony.
The Trump Organization organized the funeral arrangements with the Secret Service on eye watch. About 100 bystanders, including photographers, were outside the St. Vincent Ferrer church.
Only a few mourners gathered to bid farewell to Ivana inside the church, including some Manhattan residents who had known her for the longest time.

Some of the circle made speeches about Ivana's determination to succeed, saying it set her apart from the rest. Those who knew her and Donald also touched on the former couple's ability to develop a friendship despite their bitter divorce.
One of the attendees, society columnist R. Couri Hay, told People that there were some mixed emotions during the funeral service as the mourners managed to uphold the tone of sorrow while also celebrating Ivana's life:
"The room was filled with joy and drenched with tears."

Red roses surrounded 73 burning candles near the altar, synonymous with each year of Ivana's life. The funeral Mass was invite-only, limited to close friends and family, which according to Hay, created a form of authenticity and celebration among mourners.
Some of the guests echoed his sentiments, saying the service was "incredibly emotional and touching" and was "an excellent service."
There was a poster board of Ivana near the podium on the cover of Vanity Fair in 1992 with the headline that read: "Ivana Be a Star." One speaker named all the several magazines that the late businesswoman graced, including Vogue and Town & Country.

The family matriarch was laid to rest at the Trump National Golf Club cemetery in Bedminster, New Jersey. Ivana was buried in a coffin with a gold hue.
A source revealed that she was buried "not too far from the main clubhouse," which had a private lawn area. The insider added that "it's a very discreet piece of granite engraved with her name."
A few hours after the funeral proceedings began, pallbearers carried Ivana's casket outside to a recessional by Christopher Macchio. Donald and Melania followed the coffin, including Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr.

Before laying his former first wife to rest, the 45th president said her passing saddened him and described her as a "special, outstanding, beautiful" woman who "never fell down."
Although he did not give a eulogy, Ivana's brood paid loving tributes to her, her youngest son, Eric, described her as a force of nature, "She had brains, she had beauty, and she had grit," he said.
Ivana's only daughter, Ivanka, revealed in her eulogy that she could not stand funerals, "My mother hated funerals. She wanted to celebrate life." Ivanka reportedly told mourners that her beloved mom would have wanted them to lighten up amid her service:
"Now, she's watching us from above, telling us to dry our eyes, have a good time, and dance one more song for her. Mom, I love you today, every day."

While Ivana kept in touch with the father of her kids, she, on the other, became "isolated." A designer named Marc Bouwer, who dressed her for many years, disclosed that she lived a solitary life in the years leading up to her death:
"She had been isolated. There was a lot of pain, a lot of sadness."
The eatery owner revealed this startling revelation in a brief interview outside the church but refused to elaborate.

Meanwhile, a close friend, Zach Erdem, told the New York Post that Ivana had been in bad shape two weeks before her passing and could barely leave the house for a trip to the Hamptons.
Erdem, an owner of the Southampton hot spot 75 on Main, divulged that the media personality had an issue with her hip, which made her unable to walk. He recalled that Ivana said she was not feeling well at the time, adding she had "pain in her leg" and "couldn't get out of her house."
When Erdem suggested that the author go and see a doctor, she refused, saying she hated seeing medical professionals because she got sicker after seeing them. The two had known each other for fifteen years.
