Eve 'Can't Believe' She & Husband Have a Baby — She Glows with Happiness in Each Photo with Son

Struggling with fertility issues is something that many couples face, and Hollywood couples are no exception to the rule. Eve and her husband, Maximilian Cooper, struggled for many years to conceive their own baby.

Eve and Cooper, who married in 2014, had been trying to conceive their child for a couple of years. Cooper has four children from his previous marriage, who Eve treats like her own children, but the couple wanted to expand their family.

The actress and singer said she felt something was wrong with her because she thought falling pregnant was supposed to come naturally to women. She also said that people's questions about when she would have a child were invasive.

Eve reflected that nobody asked men how old they were or when they would have children. She said:

"No one should do it. We are trying for anybody who is asking, but it's up to God and the universe. Just stop asking questions."

This all happened just eight days before her 39th birthday. By the time Eve turned 42, she had good news to share with the world. In late 2021, Eve's husband shared a sweet snap of Eve holding a baby bump on his Instagram page.

Eve also shared a snap and expressed her excitement at finally being able to share the news with the world. She mentioned how long she and her husband had waited for the blessing that was her pregnancy.

EVE WELCOMED HER FIRST CHILD WITH COOPER

The moment that Eve found out she was pregnant was just before a "Verzuz" battle that she was scheduled to have with rapper Trina. She said she was grateful to be working with Trina and Swizz Beats at the time as they knew she was pregnant and understood she couldn't fly to Miami and had to stay in London, where she currently lives.

Because she waited so long to become a mother, the rapper enjoyed sharing updates about her pregnancy on her Instagram page. One of the last photos she posted before the baby was born was captioned:

"Can't believe how soon I'm gonna be meeting this little person."

Before the baby was born, Eve and Cooper had two names picked out. However, Eve said the baby was communicating with her and her husband from inside her womb and telling them what name he preferred.

The couple finally decided on a name for their son. However, fans only discovered the baby boy's name when Cooper and Eve took to their Instagram pages to announce the bundle's birth.

The baby boy's name is Wilde Wolf Fife Alexander Somers Cooper. While fans congratulated the new mom, they also wanted to know where she and Cooper got the inspiration for their son's unique name.

Wilde, a variant of the name Wilder, means hunter, and Wolf symbolizes freedom, loyalty, protection, and playfulness. Fife is a small instrument used to play military music. A beautiful, strong name for a baby boy.

EVE WAS IN DISBELIEF AT WELCOMING HER SON

The star was grateful that she finally had her bundle of joy in her arms, but the journey of motherhood has been surreal for Eve, and she has had no trouble sharing her thoughts with her fans.

Since Wilde was born on February 1, 2022, Eve and her husband have shared many photographs of the baby boy on their Instagram. Some of him alone, some with his parents, and some with his half-siblings from Cooper's previous marriage.

The couple is enamored with their little boy, but Eve has been candid about the fact that she cannot believe she is finally a mother who gets to raise her little boy with her husband and her "bonus children."

Just a couple of weeks after Wilde was born, Eve took to her Instagram page to share a photo of her holding her son while standing in an idyllic setting. She wore a black and white ensemble while Wilde was dressed in all white with his face cuddled into his mom's neck.

The photo was posted in honor of UK Mother's Day. It was Eve's first time celebrating Mother's Day as a mother to her son, even though she is a stepmother to Cooper's children from his previous marriage.

Eve has also shared photos of her son with her husband, and one of the captions on a picture that she posted of the pair was: "Still can't believe we have a #little #human." The snap was met with many adoring comments from fans.

The star also began posting throwback pictures with her son and husband from the time her son was five months old. One of these photos was of the family at a sports match with Eve holding a sleeping Wilde.

The photo at the sports event was taken when Wilde was only three months old, and Cooper shared an image from the same event, but this time of only Eve and Wilde together. He mentioned that he loved the photo.

The couple has been open to sharing all the new experiences they get to have as a family with their new baby boy and has not shied away from showing his face to the public, which some other celebs choose not to do.
