Evan Rachel Wood's son was delivered by candlelight during a home birth in what the actress described as a "psychedelic experience." That's not all the actress has been open about; she's also expressed how motherhood has changed her life. In 2020, she revealed how busy she had been after giving birth to Jack. She expressed:

"People say, 'What about when the baby goes to sleep?’ But that's when I'm doing laundry, cleaning the house, answering emails. I pretty much always have a stain on my shirt. That's my life!"

Despite all the chaos and busyness, the actress called her baby boy "the love of her life." The star also said she's learning a lot from motherhood, and Jack has taught her a lot about deeper emotions, and her heart grows bigger every day. Evan and Jamie split in 2014, and the "Into the Forest" star admitted that separating was difficult.

Despite their separation, they vowed to love and respect each other while raising their son and remained friends for the sake of Jack. The former couple has made Jack a priority and is co-parenting amicably. Evan said they were doing their best and said their son "always comes first," he's "what matters."

Jamie filed court papers to regain joint custody of Jack after Evan decided to relocate from Los Angeles to Tennessee. Jack's father said the actress claimed she was receiving death threats but that they were not true. He accused the actress of preventing him from having access to his son.
