Louis Thomas Hardy, Tom Hardy's son, has been kept out of the spotlight despite having an award-winning actor for a father. Although not much is known about him, Tom Hardy revealed that Louis was his acting coach in preparation for "Venom."
Tom has made a name for himself as a famous actor and producer; the Englishman has worked on notable projects such as "Peaky Blinders" and "Venom" and, despite his popularity, garnered a reputation for being a private person.
But his most significant role came in 2008 when he became a father for the first time. Tom welcomed Louis with Rachel Speed; Rachel was a casting director, and she reportedly met Tom in 2005 on the set of the historical miniseries "The Virgin Queen." After welcoming Louis, they decided to part ways in 2009.

Louis Is No Stranger to Skype with Dad
Tom's success as an actor meant spending time away from his family while filming; in 2012, the actor called himself a "Skype father" as it was the way he kept in touch with his son while he was away. He said he tried to keep his time away from home as short as three weeks, but even that was difficult. Tom further said:
"I'm very much aware of being a 'Skype father,' which is sad."
He wanted to ensure he could financially provide for Louis and secure his future, which meant taking roles and spending time away. He was scheduled to play Bane in "The Dark Rises"Raise" and "Lawless," a historical crime drama.
Louis Plays Rugby
As a result of his father's busy schedule, Louis spent most of his time living with his mother. Louis's parents dated for several years but were on and off. Louis was just four years old when his father revealed he loved rugby; according to Tom, Louis was not too great at the sport but was "really full of heart."
The actor could not help but gushed about his son and called him a "beautiful boy." Growing up, Tom was an only child and received much attention from his mother; he jokingly added that it made him clingy in romantic relationships.
Louis Consulted His Father for Venom
In preparation for his starring role in "Venom," Tom revealed that his harshest critic was Louis. Tom shared that Louis was "in the driving seat" when it came to Tom's performance and giving his dad some advice. Tom said:
"He was my little spirit guide in that aspect."
Louis would let Tom know if he was doing something wrong, and Tom learned he was doing more wrong than he thought. Ultimately, Tom was confident passed Louis's test, and the English actor was excited about the film and in anticipation of sequels.
Louis Is an Older Brother
After his split from Rachel, Tom met Charlotte Riley. They met on the set of the TV adaptation of "Wuthering Heights" in 2009. They tied the knot in 2014 and have been so private about their children that their names and gender have yet to be revealed.
It was reported that Louis had a younger sister and a younger brother. Louis's step-sister was reportedly born in 2015, followed by his step-brother in 2019. According to the Sun, Tom and Charlotte named their son Forrest after the 1994 film "Forrest Gump" starring Tom Hanks. A source said:
"The couple are over the moon with the new addition to the family."
The source revealed that Tom's second son looked like him, with friends in agreeance. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Tom had a shift in his priorities and shared that his children were his focus. In a 2021 interview, he said life was about his children and staying healthy.
Being a Son of Tom Hardy
Growing up, Tom did not have a great relationship with his father; when he was younger, he made mistakes, hung out with the wrong crowd, and searched for a father figure. Once he became a dad, it all changed; Tom revealed that having Louis and his siblings put an end to his "selfish behavior."
Later in his life, Tom and his father reconnected, and Louis and his siblings played a significant part in that process; having children "forced" Tom Hardy into being responsible; he said of fatherhood:
"I take great pride in being a father."
