Gracie Elliot Teefey Is Selena Gomez's Little Sister and Her 'Favorite Human'

Gracie's sister took to Twitter in June 2013 and said her mom, stepdad, and she was "grateful" for everyone's well wishes. She further revealed her sister's name and wrote that she was born on June 12.

Gracie's parents are Selena's mother, Mandy Teefey and Brian Teefey, Mandy's second husband. Gracie's mom married her father after her divorce from Selena's dad Ricardo Gomez when the singer was five years old.

The singer shared a video of her and Gracie on TikTok singing in August 2022. In the video, the two can be seen lip-syncing to the song "Driver's License" by Olivia Rodrigo before Gracie hugs her big sister.

In another post from October 2017, Gracie's sister shared a video of her teaching her younger sibling how to be "strong, bold, and beautiful." She also said in the caption that she'll teach Gracie to know that "her voice matters" and understand how important it is to be "a leader and inspire others by her truth."

The singer described Gracie as her "favorite human" in a post from March 2022, which showed photos of the two all dressed up in their gorgeous outfits. Selena wore a colorful dress, while Gracie wore a black dress with glitter.

Selena Is Overprotective of Gracie

Selena Gomez once revealed to E! News that she's overprotective of Gracie, her little sister. The songstress further revealed that it's "instinctual" for her as her zodiac sign is Cancer, and she cares for the people she loves.

The 30-year-old had shown affection for her sister on several occasions, like when the two attended the "Frozen 2" premiere in November 2019. Gracie and Selena looked lovely on the red carpet at the event in their beautiful matching printed dresses and bejeweled and feathered capes.

The actress's younger sibling was six years old at the time, and it was the cutest sister appearance ever. The "Lose You to Love Me" singer shared the advice she gave Gracie at the event before they walked the red carpet.

Per US Weekly, Selena said: "If you get nervous, if you get overwhelmed, just pull my hand; I'll take you off immediately."

However, there was no need for the former Disney Channel star to worry as Gracie looked like she was born for the red carpet and stepped out perfectly. Selena described the moment as "the coolest feeling" and said she told Gracie that their night out together was her favorite red carpet she had ever done.

Selena Gomez also explained that Gracie wasn't forced to attend the event then and did all they could to "keep her safe." She also revealed that her little sister had fallen in love with dresses and glitter.
