Unforgettably, Katherine's brother, Chris, is a famous actor, writer, and director, known for his roles in "The Princess Diaries," "Just My Luck," the "Star Trek" film franchise, "This Means War," "Wonder Woman," and many more.

Some of his 2022 projects include "Dungeons & Dragons," "Don't Worry Darling," and "All the Knives Out," among others.

However, Chris never really saw himself in the industry and never liked the profession before making it his career. According to Pine, he never had a passion for acting. "[It] was something that seemed to pop out of nowhere and then just took over my life," he said.

When it comes to choosing roles, Chris considers his interests in his decision-making process. He was fortunate enough to have had opportunities he could take, and others that he could turn down, over the years.

His success and gradual liking of his job seemed more like fate, given his family's background. Similarly, Chris never desired to become a director. "The idea for [my directorial debut] 'Poolman' started as this little pebble in a pond," he revealed.

She Is Often Confused with Katherine Heigl

Since Katherine has had her fair share of screen time and is recognized in the entertainment industry, she is often confused with another actress, Katherin Heigl. The confusion is no surprise, given the two beautiful women share similar physical characteristics.

For one, both women have had golden locks for some time. They also have the same age and share the same first name. Some publications have posted the wrong photo of the actress in an article about the other.

Twitter users have also shared their sentiments on the striking resemblance between the two Katherines. "Google image search seems to think Katherine Heigl is Catherine Pine," one person tweeted. "Somehow, it's weirdly comforting that the algorithms got two totally white people mixed up."

As opposed to what many think, the duo is not in any way related. Heigl has found success as a Hollywood actress, known for her roles in "The Ugly Truth," "27 Dresses," "Knocked Up," "Suits," "Grey's Anatomy," and "Firefly Lane."

However, her role as Dr. Izzie Stevens on "Grey's Anatomy" made her a household name. In a previous interview, Katherine Heigl revealed that her early career on the series was no easy feat as she faced criticism for complaining about her 17-hour work schedule.

Her label soon went from ungrateful to unprofessional after expressing her sentiments which others did not agree with. It still upsets Heigl today that she was labeled as difficult on set. She said:

"What is your definition of difficult? Somebody with an opinion that you don't like? Now, I'm 42, and that [expletive] me off."

Nevertheless, Heigl has proven her expertise and talent in the craft with the many shows and movies wherein she has starred.
