Terry Bradshaw Has 3 Grandchildren & 2 of Them Have Already Appeared in 'The Bradshaw Bunch'
After deciding to hang up his cleats, NFL giant Terry Bradshaw used his new-found spare time bonding with his grandchildren. Two of Terry Brashaw's grandchildren have already appeared in his series "The Bradshaw Bunch," and the doting grandfather often shares pictures of them on his social media.
Terry made a name for himself as a star NFL quarterback who led the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl wins during his highly decorated career as a professional athlete. Terry chose to hang up his cleats and pursue a career in sportscasting, where he is just as popular. He's appeared in movies and advertising campaigns for big brands.
The NFL legend gave the world a glimpse into his blended family with his E! reality TV show "The Bradshaw Bunch." The TV series documented the lives of the NFL star and his close-knit family; Terry was married four times and welcomed two daughters, Erin and Rachel Bradshaw, during his third marriage to Charlotte Hopkins.
Terry's stepdaughter, Lacey Hester-Luttrull, became a part of the big family after Terry married her mother, Tammy Bradshaw. His family huddled around him after his two battles with cancer, which Terry chose to discuss publicly. He became breathless while in the studio and felt compelled to address his health history; he was first diagnosed with bladder cancer, and then after being cancer-free, doctors found a tumor in his neck.
The former athlete said he was cancer-free and "feeling great" and often enjoyed spending time with his family. Just before Christmas in 2021, his daughter Erin shared a picture of Terry and his granddaughter, who she said was already "spoiled and loved."
Terry Bradshaw's First Grandchildren Were Born to His Stepdaughter, Lacey
Terry became a grandfather for the first time after Lacey welcomed Zurie and Jeb; both appeared in "The Bradshaw Bunch," and despite being a little girl, Zurie's big personality and sense of humor often stole the show. Zurie was born in April 2013, and her brother was born in June 2017.
The series premiered in September 2020 and featured adorable Pappy, which is what Zurie and Jeb call Terry, and granddaughter moments, including her planting her face into a cake and her grandfather finding it hilarious.
Zurie also competed in horseback riding; her stepfather shared pictures of her on his social media and shared how proud he was of her becoming a world champion. Lacey posted a picture of Zurie and Jeb side-by-side after Zurie won third place and a medal. Terry wished his "little princess" a happy birthday in 2021 and shared a picture of Zurie in a purple gown.
Little is known about Zurie's biological father; her mother chose not to discuss it publicly, but that did not stop Zurie from bonding with her stepfather, Noah Hester. On Zurie's birthday, Noah celebrated with a post and wrote:
"Happy birthday to the #zuriecane: the day I met you changed my life forever. You will forever be my little goober fish. Can't explain the love I have for you."
Terry Last Became a Grandfather in 2021
In 2021, Erin gave birth to Terry's third grandchild, Jessie Paxton Weiss. The former NFL Player was visibly excited when he took to social media to share a picture of himself and his newborn granddaughter, calling her the "best Christmas gift ever."
Rachel also posted an image of her niece after her birth; she dressed in all black as she held Jessie in her arms, whom she wrote had already stolen her heart. Erin and her husband took their almost ten-month-old daughter to a pumpkin patch to celebrate their daughter's first fall, and the photos featured a smiling and barefoot Jessie.
Erin married Scott Weiss in 2017; Scott owns Scott Weiss Horses, a company that trains championship horses. As a horse riding enthusiast herself, Erin and Scott's romance blossomed.
Terry Bradshaw's Oldest Daughter Has No Children Yet
Terry Bradshaw's grandchildren are the apples of his eye, and although two of his daughters have had children, his daughter Rachel has not. Rachel was born in 1987 and was married to Rob Bironas, a Tennesse Titans player, in 2014.
Rob tragically died in a car accident three months later; she said she was hesitant to talk about her loss on her family's show but decided to, with the support of her family:
"This is my life, and everyone that's close to me knows my struggles... I'm going to talk about it. I wouldn't have done that, though, if it wasn't with my family and my dad there."
Rachel found love again and shared pictures of her relationship on her social media; she rarely tagged her mystery man in her posts, but the couple celebrated ten months of romance in April.
