Glenn Beck Talks about Fatherhood: He Has 4 Kids from Two Marriages

Glenn Beck's wife is Tania Colonna. She's the media personality's second wife, and the pair have been together for over twenty years. They became husband and wife on January 8, 2000. During their union, they had two children, Raphe, a child they adopted, and Cheyenne.

Sadly, Glenn's wife Tania's brother passed away in 2021, and her husband shared a touching tribute on Instagram. He expressed appreciation to his fans for their support during that difficult time. Glenn partly wrote in the caption alongside a photo of his late brother-in-law, "On Monday, we lost Tania's brother. It had come as a thief in the night, and we will all miss him terribly."

He further mentioned in the caption that Tania's brother lived an honorable life and the family would "never forget" his wife's brother or the last time they saw him. Glenn asked his fans to keep him and his family in their prayers and also appreciate their own family members who are still around.

His fans noticed his absence on iHeartRadio, where he hosts the "Glenn Beck Program." Most of them sent him heartfelt messages after hearing about his loss. The radio host revealed he would return on the radio after a few days as he wanted to spend time with his family.

Glenn Beck on Fatherhood

Glenn Beck is a proud father of four children. He shares his two youngest children with his current wife, Tania. Cheyenne Grace is their lastborn, and she's currently 16 years old. Their other child is a son, Ray William, also known as Raphe, who is currently 18.

He shares his older children with his ex-wife, and both of them are girls. One of their daughters is Hannah Rose, now 29; Glenn's eldest child is Mary Kate, who is 34. Glenn revealed to Fatherly magazine in 2018 that only his first daughter, Mary Kate, was named after someone in his family. He said she was named after his late mother, who passed away when he was around 15.

The doting dad also revealed in the interview that he has cute nicknames for his children but refused to share them and said, "I torture them enough." He also stated that only his oldest child still calls him "daddy," and his other kids call him "dad."

He said in 2018 that he sees his kids often because they live with him or are close. The father of four shared how he sees his first daughter every day because she works for a charity he started in his studio complex, and his son-in-law works there too. They frequently have dinner together as a family and his grandchildren are also around.

Glenn described himself as a "fun, loving, and present -- or stable" dad. He also said one of his strengths as a father is being "good at diffusing... and fusing." The radio host further said:

"I am, at this point, not afraid of being who I am with my kids. I'm not afraid of, 'Oh, I'm dad. I've got to do this because that's what dads do.' I'm just who I am."

The 58-year-old said his biggest weakness as a father is that he's "clueless with girls," and explained that many times he had said something and his kids would walk out on him, though sometimes ask him what he thinks when he says something.

Glenn also confessed that he's a workaholic but does make time for his kids. Some of the activities he enjoys doing with his children are reading with them and just talking with them. He said they also play cards and enjoy "hanging out with them." The one thing he wants to leave with them is to "remember the safety of the family, the stability, the love."

Glenn Beck's Daughter's Story

In 2013, Glenn Beck shared a story about what happened when one of his daughters became a mother for the first time. His daughter Hannah experienced something disturbing in the hospital after she had given birth to her first child. According to a story told by her father on his news website, a nurse allegedly suggested that Hannah was poor.

The nurse was said to be advising Glenn's daughter and her husband and said, "Look, don't shake the baby, or you're going to end up on the news." Glenn went on to ask if his children "look like baby shakers."

He then stated, "So my daughter is having her first breastfeeding experience with, I don't know, somebody who lost their heart or something. I don't know. And everybody has a bad day, but you don't do that job and have a bad day."

Glenn's daughter's story must have been an incredible experience for Hannah, who had become a mother for the first time, and her father protective dad expressed his anger over what happened.
