Former "American Idol" contestant Jimmie Allen's career as a country singer is skyrocketing, and by his side is his beautiful wife and mother of his two children, Alexis Gale.

The country singer has sung with Charley Pride, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Nelly, and Abby Anderson, but the person he harmonizes with is his wife.

Jimmie Allen's wife, Alexis Gale, is the one inspiring the music that's filling the airwaves. Fans are eager to learn more about the country singer's muse and the mother of his two younger children.

Allen's dream was music, country music, so in 2007 he moved from Milton, Delaware, to Nashville, Tennesee in pursuit of that dream. The first years were hard, and Allen was homeless, living in his car, but he didn't give up.

He entered "American Idol" but didn't make it into the top 24 contestants. Still, Allen didn't give up on his dream, and in 2017, his talent was finally recognized. Broken Bow Records signed him on, and he launched his first record within a year.

When Allen met Gale he already had a child from a previous relationship, Aadyn.

His first single went to #37 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became Allen's first platinum record. His second single, "You Make Me Want To," also went platinum, and in 2021 he became the second black singer ever to have won the Country Music Association Award for New Artist of the Year.

While all this excitement was going on, Allen still had time to meet, fall in love and propose to the love of his life, Alexis Gale. He didn't find this sophisticated beauty in Nashville --she's from his hometown, a Milton, Delaware, girl.

Who is Jimmie Allen's Wife?

The girl from Milton, Delaware, who swept the country star off his feet was born on January 6, 1996, which makes her nine years younger than the country singer.

Gale initially worked as a licensed esthetician but decided to pursue her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. She enrolled in the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing to get her nursing degree. Gale was due to graduate in 2019, the year she met Allen. She revealed:

“When we met, I was just graduating. I had to study for my NCLEX to officially become a nurse, and he took the time, right before he went on tour, to study with me even though he had no idea what he was doing."

Gale is Allen's biggest fan, and her Instagram account is full of praise and support for her husband, his music, and his determination to make it to the top.

How Did Jimmie Allen Meet his Wife?

According to the couple, Allen first saw Gale at his cousin's house. Gale, who was then a student nurse, was wearing scrubs. Allen was so overwhelmed that he was speechless, but he did manage to put his phone number on her cell phone.

The two found that their hometown provided a vast connection. Allen stated that he's a Delaware man, and that is where he intends to live with his family.

When they met, Allen and Gale felt they already knew each other. That mutual recognition sent the relationship into overdrive. Gale admitted:

"It just happened so fast and we just went full-in, all emotions. I have so much love for him, so much respect. I admire who he is to me and to everybody around him."

The relationship developed quickly, and within six months, the singer popped the question in the most magical place on earth: Disney World --and Gale said "Yes."

When Did Jimmie Allen and Alexis Gale Get Married?

Allen and Gale tied the knot secretly for the first time in June 2020, The couple had planned for a big wedding, but the pandemic forced them to rethink their plans.

But even though they were officially man and wife, Allen and Gale wanted to share their joy in their commitment with their friends and family, so they did it again in May 2021 in a beautiful country estate in Pennsylvania.

The couple's family and friends attended the lavish wedding, including country stars Tyler Rich, Darius Rucker, and Chuck Wicks. The couple's children, Aadyn and Naomi, were two special guests at the wedding.

How Many Kids Does Jimmie Allen have With his Wife?

When Allen met Gale, he already had a child from a previous relationship, Aadyn. When Allen learned he would be a father for the first time, he worked three jobs to make ends meet and wasn't ready for fatherhood. He confessed:

"Man, here I am — my dream of being an artist isn't quite happening yet. I have a son that I have to provide for. What am I gonna do?"

Allen fell in love with his son at first sight, and a year after his birth, he signed his first record deal, and his career started to take off. Allen and Gale welcomed daughter Naomi Bettie early in their relationship on March 1, 2020.

Coincidentally, that was the day Jimmie Allen's song "Make Me Want To" went to #1, but that thrill couldn't compare to how the singer felt when he saw his newborn daughter for the first time.

On October 16, 2021, the Allen family grew again with the arrival of little Zara. The singer has revealed that even though he wouldn't mind having more children, Gale feels that a family of five is the right size.

While Gale is the more laid-back of the two, the country singer is the more anxious parent. He has discovered that being a dad is an added fount of inspiration, and he has published a book for children, "My Voice Is a Trumpet." The idea behind the book is to teach children to be confident and speak their truth fearlessly.
