A North Carolina family's life turned upside down when their 13-year-old God-fearing son, who aspired to be an engineer, suddenly breathed his last. No one expected the teenager to pass away so soon.

Sabin Tulachan and Mary Raynor had five children and loved each one of them. They welcomed their son Silas Samar Tulachan in 2008, and he grew into an ambitious 13-year-old boy who enjoyed every day of his life.

Silas loved his family the most and wanted to be an engineer. He had a bright future ahead of him, and his parents wanted him to achieve his goals, but fate had other plans.

The Young Boy

Besides loving God and acknowledging His existence, Silas was interested in music. His family always encouraged him to pursue his interests, unaware that the young boy would soon close his eyes forever.

His mother, Raynor, ran a small business in downtown Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and everyone knew her as a kind-hearted woman. She was Silas's best friend and the person he looked up to.

Silas's family said he was "years beyond his time," but they were unaware that he didn't have much time left in this world. It was a usual day for his relatives when they discovered something that left them devastated.

The Untimely Demise

"Silas Samar Tulachan has gone home to be with Jesus on October 13, 2022," the family revealed through a GoFundMe page they set up to cover the boy's funeral expenses. The eighth-grader suddenly passed away and left his family alone.

A similar incident occurred in Franklin Park, Illinois, on October 14, when a 17-year-old suddenly passed away at a choir event.

Silas's family was beyond devastated about his death. Never in a million years had they imagined preparing for the teenager's funeral.

The Support

A family member, Bess Matamoros, who set up the online fundraiser, said, "we need some major assistance." The goal of the fundraiser was to collect $18,000. As of October 20, more than $13,000 have been raised through 237 donations.

After her baby's death, Raynor planned to stay home to look after her children until 2023. The funds collected through GoFundMe would cover the funeral expenses and help the family heal during this difficult time. Matamoros said:

"During her time off, Mary intends to help her children navigate through this devastating reality of losing Silas."

Another Teenager Passes Unexpectedly

A similar incident occurred in Franklin Park, Illinois, on October 14, when a 17-year-old suddenly passed away at a choir event. Daniel Moshi was an exceptional musician and was excited about performing at the event on Friday.

That evening, his mother, Karolin Moshi, received a call she never wished to answer. The person on the other end told her that her son suddenly collapsed while performing on stage. When she reached there, he had already breathed his last.

Per the family, the cause of the death remains unknown since the initial autopsy reports didn't indicate anything. His devastated parents and family pray their son rests in peace.

We extend our sincere condolences to the friends and family of Silas Samar Tulachan and Daniel Moshi. Our thoughts and prayers are with the parents of these young boys.
