At the start of their acting careers, Zoë Kravitz and Ezra Miller worked on an indie teen movie called "Beware of Gonzo." The film did not make a splash at the box office, but the rumored romance between the two at the time made waves.

Ezra Miller and Zoë Kravitz's careers have run in offbeat parallel. Both are superheroes in the DC Universe and portrayed characters on "Californication." They did not share a set, so they didn't cross paths in either project.

When the two get together, it is electric, as seen in "Beware the Gonzo" and, in a lesser sense, the "Fantastic Beasts" franchise. The actress has been linked to multiple stars and was briefly married.

How Zoe and Ezra Met

Kravitz, then 21, met 18-year-old Mille, who had already been cast, during a chemistry read for "Beware the Gonzo" in 2010. The instant chemistry won her the part and a friend in her co-star, who told Collier that they "clicked right away and spent time together." Miller told Seventeen:

"It was so beautiful to see everyone doing what every kid wants to do — just get together with all the other kids and take over. The making of this movie was pure fun and joy."

The film was about a group of misfits starting an underground newspaper and was filmed at a real high school. The New York Times called it a "juicy David-and-Goliath fantasy and a hardheaded fable about hubris" but criticized its formulaic storyline and "half-hearted ending."

The actress supported her co-star at "675 Bar" for "Every Day." The pair were spotted making out at the industry event. While they were photographed together multiple times during the "Gonzo" press tour, the young actors did not indulge the paparazzi with PDA.

It is unclear if they shared a single passionate kiss after months of sexy chemistry on-set or if the two dated officially. They are still friends and speak well of each other in the press.

Ezra Miller and Zoe Kravitz Starred in the Same Franchise

The pair reunited on the "Harry Potter" spinoff, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," and the sequel "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald." Kravitz used insight from the author of the source material, J.K. Rowling, to originate the role of Leta Lestrange.

The actress admitted to Andy Cohen, four years after the fact, that she and Drake "hung out a little bit" in 2013.

Miller was a resource for co-star Carmen Ejogo when developing her role. In a cast interview with SYFY, Miller said that the film was about creatures recognizing them in each other and the need to understand them instead of using good and evil epilates.

Ezra Miller's Life After Zoe Kravitz

Miller came out as queer during the press tour for the YA film "Perks of Being a Wallflower," in which they portrayed a gay high school senior. They spoke openly about their sexuality and distaste for monogamy for the first time to Out Magazine in 2012:

"I've been trying to figure out relationships, you know? I don't know if it's responsible for kids of my age to be so aggressively pursuing monogamous binds because I don't think we're ready for them."

Reports of erratic behavior started surfacing in 2020. A Variety report exposed his alleged manipulative behavior towards everyone in his orbit. On June 8, 2022, they were accused of grooming a minor. They have also been hit with restraining orders and a burglary charge.

Zoe Kravitz's Dating History After Ezra Miller

Kraviz moved on from the brief Miller entanglement that same year with Chris Pine. They were seen together Met Gala but not much after that. She dated Michael Fassbender after meeting him on the "X-Men: First Class" set for a few months.

The actress admitted to Andy Cohen, four years after the fact, that she and Drake "hung out a little bit" in 2013. After a few more flings, she married actor Karl Glusman in a secret civil ceremony in May 2019. The star filed for divorce 18 months later.

The "Catwoman" star has been linked to Channing Tatum since the pair were spotted riding bikes and going for Central Park strolls. They have yet to appear officially on a red carpet together, other than walking down the stairs at the 2021 Met Gala.

From Indie Darlings to Blockbuster Superheroes

If one looks at her Instagram, it is like Kraviz created a clean slate for her DC persona, as a photo of Selina Kyle, AKA Catwoman in "The Batman," is now the first post. Robert Pattinson heads the new iteration of the franchise as Bruce Wayne.

Miller snatched the role of "The Flash" from Grant Gustin, who played the role on TV, making his two appearances in 2016's "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad." A year later, they had another outing as the Flash in "Justice League."

A Flash sequence in the Syder Cut of "Justice League" scored the 2022 "Oscars Fan Favorite Moment." Despite their success in the character, the future of the standalone film seemed unclear after reports of on-set "meltdowns" and execs' concerns about the star's scandals.

On August 15, 2022, the DC star released a statement apologizing for past behavior and revealing that they are being treated for "complex health issues." "The Flash" is set for release in 2023.
