Tristen, then a teenager, reportedly wanted to hurt his mother, and her brother would not let that happen. However, when the police arrived, and he began filling out his statement, his sister began arguing with him.

Kevin is not the only lover of sports in the Nash household, as Tamara also loves sports and has a dedicated home gym for her workouts, which is separate from her husband's workout space.

Kevin, who was working on the independent scene, loved having his weekends free as it allowed him to bond with his son when their son was a teenager.

He never wanted to retire from wrestling early, as he later revealed that he grew up with an assembly line mentality and had to work to make money.

While Tamara wondered why her husband still wrestled in 2012, he stated in an interview that as long as there were money-making opportunities in the career, he would stay there.

The Troubles of the Nash Family

In December 2014, there was trouble at Kevin and Tamara's home involving their son, Tristen. The events that took place led to the arrests of both father and son on December 24, 2014, and the police took them to Volusia County jail, Florida.

It started when Tristen reportedly returned home late, intoxicated, and disrespected his parents. He was said to have shoved his mother, leading his father to take him on, and he fell.

Father and son sustained injuries from their tussle. Kevin was bleeding near his left eye, and his son had an elbow cut and redness on his chest. They were both charged with battery and a misdemeanor.

Tristen was a solo musician and poet who constantly received the support of his father. When he was 14, his father had wished a brain tumor on his son's haters while reminding them that his son's voice had not fully matured.
