Michelle Williams is best known for her role in "Dawson's Creek," but has also starred in many other critically acclaimed films and series throughout the years. She was also known for being in a serious relationship with Heath Ledger.

When Ledger tragically passed away from an accidental prescription drug overdose in January 2008, Williams was left a single mother. She has since moved on and built a new life for herself and her child.

Recently, Williams was seen holding an infant in a white onesie on her chest while on an outing with her new husband, Thomas Kail, and their toddler son, Hart. The couple welcomed Hart in June 2020.

It has now been confirmed that she has given birth to the couple's second child, as shown by the paparazzi pictures taken of her and the infant. This is Williams' third child, and she said that her children remind her that life goes on.

How Did She Survive the Death of Heath Ledger, Father of Her Child?

Williams said that she often spoke to her and Ledger's daughter, Matilda, about her father. She said she told the girl about her father by saying:

"Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes."

She also mentioned that it was not easy to raise her daughter without Ledger present. After he died and left her a single mother, she had to come to terms with his death, as well as having to raise her daughter without any help.

Talking about what it was like for her to raise her daughter alone and mourn the loss of her ex-partner, who she admired, she said:

Ledger and Williams welcomed Matilda in 2005 but had broken up by 2007. It was the following year that Ledger passed away, and Williams was left to raise their daughter entirely on her own.

What Is Her Current Life With Her New Husband?

Since losing Ledger, Williams has built a successful career and become a household name. She has also had success in her personal life as she remarried and welcomed two more children with her new husband.

Both Williams and her new husband, Kail, were in serious relationships when they met. However, their connection could not be denied, and the couple later began dating in 2019. That same year, they became engaged.

The news of their engagement came simultaneously with the news that Williams was expecting the couple's first child together. Williams wanted to tie the knot before her baby was born, so the couple married in March 2020, and baby Hart arrived in June.

The couple is now happily married and expanding their family. The name and gender of Williams' third child have not yet been revealed to the public.
