Wilson began trying for a baby in 2019 and was told by her fertility doctor that she would have more luck falling pregnant if she were fitter and advised her to lose the excess weight she was carrying. She shared:

"He looked me up and down and said, 'You'd do much better if you were healthier.' I was taken aback. I thought, 'Oh God, this guy's so rude.' He was right."

She said she was not thinking of her future child's needs at the time and was only thinking of her own. However, when she began thinking about what her health meant for her child, she was inspired to lose weight.

Wilson lost 80 lbs and said she didn't have a goal weight but was simply losing weight to be the healthiest version of herself so she could take care of her child one day. She then explained that she would be welcoming a child alone.

While she knew that her biological clock was ticking and she needed to explore her options alone, she was not opposed to having someone in her life. She said:

"If I meet the right person, great, and then they can fit in with whatever happens."

She has now met Agruma, and the pair have welcomed Wilson's daughter together. Wilson also revealed that she's inspired by women who have welcomed children later on in life, like Janet Jackson, who welcomed her first child at 50.
