Bill Hader and Maggie Carey Have Three Daughters Together

Care and Hader are proud parents of three daughters: Hannah, born in 2009; Harper, in 2012; and Hayley, in 2014. Having kids in his early years of Hollywood success was challenging for Hader.

In a 2019 interview with Variety, Hader was sentimental when he discussed his children because he rarely spends time with them because of his career. He recalled he had to go to work at "SNL" when he and his wife welcomed their second daughter.

Hader's schedule became increasingly hectic as his career progressed. He was under pressure from all sides and thought it was "terrible" that he could only spend five days with her daughters over the summer. He said:

"It's this weird thing where when you're in this industry, you don't have time to be with them, and it's really, really difficult. "

Hader then considered making amends for his absence by spending time with his children next time. Meanwhile, his relationship with Carey was always positive, and they are still close.
