For 2022's Thanksgiving celebrations, Jason Aldean proved he was a doting father when he made amends with his daughter, Navy Aldean. The "Burnin' It Down" singer was a parent of four children, three daughters, and one son, in 2022.
Besides Navy, the star's other daughters were Kendyl, born in 2007, and Keeley, who was welcomed in 2003. Aldean shares the two older girls with his ex-wife, Jessica Ussery.

The country music singer and Ussery started seeing each other in high school until separating in January 2013. The couple's marriage of almost 12 years ended seven months after Aldean was seen kissing Brittany Kerr, now Britney Aldean.
The same day Us Weekly confirmed their separation, in April 2013, the musician filed for divorce. In a statement, the star said it was a tough time for him and his family and that he and Ussery had been together since teenagehood.

Aldean noted how they'd been through ups and downs as they grew together and that she'd remain important to him because he was the mother of his children. He shared how he knew they would make their daughters their priority.
The "Dirt Road Anthem" vocalist ended up moving on with Kerr and married her in March 2015 in Mexico. He described the day as the best one of his life, adding:
“I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend.”
The "American Idol" alum and the singer welcomed two children during their marriage, Memphis in December 2017 and Navy in February 2019. Now years later, fatherhood has become a focal point for the musician.
What Kind of Father Is Jason Now?
In January 2020, Aldean discussed raising his four children while continuing to be a country music star. The "Big Green Tractor" singer shared how he'd finally figured out how to balance the two.
The star said he'd decided to scale back his music but still ensured he was out playing shows and keeping his career alive. However, he also made an effort to spend more time at home.
Aldean further explained it was a balance he had gotten the hang of, and the older he became and the longer he worked, the more he realized he had it figured out.
Over the years, Kerr has also managed to bond with her stepchildren as they grew up. They are more like sisters instead of a step-family, with Aldean's wife confessing in May 2020 that she felt more like a big sister to the children.
Kerr said she loved that the pair were older, which made their relationship fun. She believed she was starting to relate better to the two girls, especially the older one, who was going through things she could understand.
Throughout his career, the country musician had made it clear that one thing he loved more than his career was being a father. He and his wife now have a blended family with four children and are happy together.
According to the star, Kendyl helped a lot when raising her younger siblings. She offered to help feed Memphis, change his diaper, burp the little boy, and even sit on the couch to watch television or hang out with him.
Kerr confessed she and her husband struggled for nearly a year and a half to get pregnant with their son. The star's wife said it was great when she finally got pregnant with their son because Aldean had always wanted a boy. Memphis was the first son of both couple's families.

The "You Make It Easy" singer's fourth child, Navy, has been featured on her father's social media several times, and she might be the last Aldean child.
During a previous interview, the musician noted how having four healthy children was a blessing. Since Kerr had been pregnant for two years, her husband thought she wasn't in a hurry to go through that again.
The country singer proved how in touch he was with parenthood when he and Navy had a fallout. He shared what happened and how it was resolved via his social media.

It was so cute to see the famous country singer tenderly embracing his daughter, showing how parenthood was a happiness that couldn't be exchanged for money or a career. In another Instagram post, Kerr shared a clip of the family's precious moments.
The couple was seen going out with their children and their dog, taking walks, playing, laughing, hugging, and much more. The star's wife said there were many things to be thankful for and wished everyone a happy, safe, and healthy holiday season.
Aldean also shared a lovely family photo excluding one child and showing them posing together to celebrate Thanksgiving with a Christmas tree perched behind them. He noted how he was a little late but wanted to wish his fans a Happy Thanksgiving from his family.
