Although he plays the villain in the movie, that has not made him entirely undesirable for everyone, as some fans were intrigued by his acclaimed portrayal of the character. The actor took tremendous pride in representing his culture in the movie.

The movie is not his first gig in Hollywood, though. He has had other roles in productions such as "Narcos: Mexico" and "The Forever Purge." He began his professional acting career in 2006, mainly appearing in Spanish movies. Born in Mexico, not much is known about his personal life.

Tenoch Huerta Is a Father

Although Huerta essentially keeps his personal life as private as possible, he often posts pictures of his family and some sweet dedications to them. Photos of his oldest daughter are probably the most shared of all his family members, as he likes to showcase some of his activities with her.

While attending the screening of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," the Mexican actor gave a rare glimpse into his personal life by mentioning his daughters during his interaction with People magazine. Although the girls' names remain unknown to the public, his statement at least gave them their ages. He said:

"I have two girls. One is two and a half [and] the other is nine. It's a great experience and I feel really blessed with this new representation and the new role that women are taking in movies, in politics, in the academy, science everywhere,"

Tenoch on Namor's Chemistry with Shuri

According to Rolling Stone, some viewers of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" thought Huerta's character in the film, Namor, had a romantic chemistry with Shuri, the character played by Guyanese-British actress Letitia Wright. However, Huerta does not feel that it was a romantic relationship between the two, saying:

"I don’t feel it was a romantic touch [between them]. I think it was more a human, intimate touch. I mean in the history of their kingdoms, the history of their people, they share the same root, and the threat comes from the same place for both of them, for the same reason."

The portrayal of their relationship was not intended to be romantic in this particular installment of the Marvel movie series. Huerta pointed out that their relationship did not need to be romantic. However, the positive for those fans is that he did not completely shut down any possibilities of romantic chemistry in future films.

Tenoch Huerta's Background

Being a part of the Marvel Universe, especially as lead characters, has led to many film stars becoming household names. The same can be said about Huerta. His

in the second installment of the famous "Black Panther" title has propelled him further into the limelight.

Nevertheless, Huerta was already known before "Black Panther." Born and raised in Mexico, he is well known in Latin America and Spain, where he appeared in many movies, especially at the beginning of his career. Tenoch Huerta became a professional actor in 2006 and has developed into a fine actor over the years.

Some of the films he has appeared in include the Spanish films, "Sin Nombre," released in 2009, "El Infierno" in 2010, and "Dias de Gracia" in 2012. In Hollywood, his most famous roles are probably his portrayal of Rafael Caro Quintero in the hit TV series, "Narcos: Mexico" between 2018 and 2020 and Juan in "The Forever Purge."

Although his career in Hollywood seems to be blooming late, it is a case of better late than never for the actor who is enjoying his life in the spotlight. He is grateful for getting the role in a project as big as the "Black Panther." Hopefully, his career will continue on an upward trajectory, and he will get more iconic roles soon.
