After opening the Gold & Silver Pawn shop with his father, reality television personality Rick Harrison's business became a family affair. His sons have also worked in the shop at some point in their lives, with some more committed than others to follow in their father and grandfather's path.

Rick has three sons. His first two children, Corey Harrison and Adam Harrison, were born from his first marriage to Kim Harrison, whom he married when he was 17. They separated after three years of marriage. A year after their divorce, Rick exchanged vows with his second wife, Tracy.

The union with Tracy lasted over two decades and delivered one son, Jake. Of all the sons, Corey is the one who has been most committed to the family business, putting in a lot of hours. Adam and Jake's efforts are still amateurish, although Jake has recently just got into the business.

Rick's sons have all contributed to the pawn shop but with varying levels of commitment. His oldest son, Corey, has had the most interest and contribution to the family business than the rest of his brothers so far. Nicknamed Big Boss, he first appeared on their reality show, "Pawn Stars" in 2009, during the first season.

The other two sons have had a minimal contribution to the show and the shop. Adam has been involved in the shop but not on the show. He was not interested in making it a career for himself. Instead, he has chosen plumbing as his career and runs his business in Sin City.

Rick's third son, Jake, has understandably not been involved that much, not primarily because of choice but rather his young age. Born in the 2000s, he is much younger than his brothers and has not decided to join the family business or have a different career. Still, he made his debut on the show in 2021.

The "Pawn Stars"

The reality show airs on the history channel and has gained a worldwide following since its inception in 2009. The show began after producers from Leftfield Pictures found the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which gave them the idea to start a TV series based on the characters of the family-run business.

The show is based on the daily activities and interactions with customers at the 24-hours shop in Las Vegas. The shop was originally founded through a collaboration between Richard Harrison, Rick's father, and Rick himself. When the show began, two more main characters were added -- Corey and Austin "Chumlee" Russell.

Currently in its 20th season, the show has developed into one of the History Channel's highest-rated productions. It's now showing in more than 100 countries and has been translated into more than 30 languages. Amazingly, throughout its existence, the shop has welcomed some big names as customers, including musician Bob Dylan.

Who Is Rick Harrison?

The show's leading man, Rick, was born to Richard Harrison and Joanne Rhue Harrison in Lexington, North Carolina, on March 22, 1965. However, at some point in his childhood, he lived in San Diego, California, before the family finally settled in Las Vegas. He has continued to live there ever since.

Rick's career began when his father started a shop that collected coins but was not a pawn shop. He worked with his father successfully for years. They had intended to turn their shop into a pawn shop earlier but were unable due to the maximum number of pawn shops allowed in the city being reached already.

However, in 1989, they finally got the license to operate as a pawn shop, and that was when they began bringing in large sums of money. Twenty years later, their fortunes only improved after being offered a television deal. That brought him and his family fame and even more wealth.

Details about His Three Sons

From a personal perspective, Corey, born on April 27, 1983, seems to follow a similar pattern to his father. He already has two failed marriages to his name. In 2009, he married Charlene, his high school sweetheart. Their marriage lasted for six years before divorcing in 2015. Two years after the separation, he married Korina.

Unfortunately, the union lasted only over a year before they went their separate ways in September 2017. They share a son, Richard Benjamin Harrison, who was born a month after their divorce. Rick's second child, Adam, was born in 1985. Unlike his other family members, he essentially enjoys his life out of the limelight.

Rick had a third son with his longtime wife, Tracy, whom they named Jake. Born in 2003, the youngest of Rick's children is still learning the ropes of the family trade and made his debut appearances in season 18 of "Pawn Stars." However, it is not yet clear if that will be something he will continue to pursue as he enters adulthood.

Furthermore, Jake recently graduated from high school. The announcement on Instagram added that he would be going to college; hence, he would not be a frequent feature in the shop. The father-son duo appear to have similar political ideology after they were photographed at a Republican fundraiser in 2018.

Who Was Rick's Last Wife?

Rick exchanged vows with a woman for the third time in 2013 when he married Deanna Burditt. Only a few things are known about her, though, including that she had also been married twice before her wedding to Rick.

The couple got engaged on February 14, 2012. There was nothing overly special about the occasion. Rick admitted that he had just told her he wanted to marry and give her a ring. However, he commented on the engagement, saying he felt he was the happiest man alive.

The wedding came a year after their engagement. The ceremony took place in Laguna Beach, California, and was attended by around 180 guests. After they married, Burditt chose to remain out of the spotlight; hence, little is known about her.

Like all good things, their marriage ended in 2020. The divorce was a very tight-lipped affair, with many people being in the dark about it. Nevertheless, TMZ reported on July 16 that Rick had filed for divorce on July 1. No details were given about when the divorce was finalized or the conditions.
