3-Year-Old Girl Realizes She Сan't Marry Her Beloved Dad Because He's Already Married to Her Mom

A 3-year-old girl was left heartbroken after realizing she couldn't marry her dad for one main reason – he was already married to her mom! The little girl couldn't help but cry after finding out that her dad was taken.

The term "daddy's little girl" was coined for one main reason, and that's the undying love between daughters and their dads. For some little girls, their love is on another level to the point that they believe their dad is their "boyfriend!"

For 3-year-old Bella Atkinson, that was certainly the case, and her mom Jenna had to tell her that "Daddy Matt" was already taken. What followed was a conversation filled with tears of both sadness and laughter coming from Bella and Jenna, respectively.

Mom and Dad are Married?!

While looking at some photos hanging on the family staircase, Bella noticed a photo of her mom Jenna and dad, Matt, at a wedding. "You and dad are married?" Bella asked her mom.

Thinking it was just a harmless question that Bella wanted an answer to, Jenna replied that yes, they were married. Then she asked her little girl if she intended to get married too when she was older.

It was after asking that question that her little girl went from happy to sad. Her dream man, Daddy Matt, was already taken— by her mommy! The little girl began to cry, and when asked what the matter was, she replied that there was only "one Daddy Matt."

Daddy's Little Girl

Upon realizing that there was only one "Daddy Matt," she sobbed some more because she could no longer marry him. "Who are you gonna marry then?" her mom asked, and precious Bella yelled through tears, "Nobody!"

While it was entertaining for a while, Jenna realized that her daughter's heart was genuinely broken by the news she'd discovered. So the thoughtful mom asked her daughter if they could share Daddy Matt instead. The little girl agreed, and she started to stop crying.

People couldn't help but comment on the special video, with many noting how great of a dad Matt must be for his daughter to admire him that way.

The Best of Friends

Bella and her Daddy Matt are extremely close. Whenever he's not at work, he spends time with her, teaching her about the outdoors and playing pretend with her. In fact, when the little girl puts up her "beauty parlor" at home, her Daddy Matt is her number one customer and allows her to paint his nails.

It's no secret that Bella is a daddy's girl, and even mommy Jenna can attest to that. Describing the type of love Bella has for her father, she shared:

"She runs to the door every time she hears him pull in from work and I'm not sure which one of them is more excited when he opens the door."

The Feeling is Mutual

The feeling is mutual between Bella and Daddy Matt, and they are just overflowing with love for one another. It comes as no surprise that there's no other man Bella would like to spend the rest of her life with than her own dad. After all, he set the bar so high for any other boys who would like to come into her life one day.
