Emma, born on May 22, 2001, is an only child of Michael and Sophia Chamberlain. The 21-year-old started watching Youtube videos when she was six because she wanted to connect with creators.

Following her passion and dedication, she opened her Youtube channel when she turned 16; the rest is history. Today she is one of the most influential social media personalities, with millions of followers keeping up with her content.

Emma Chamberlain's Family Faced Financial Hardships

Emma Chamberlain's dad is an artist by profession; he began his career in August 2003 without any art experience. He said he got motivated to have artwork on his wall.

After a lot of practice sessions and research, he became a pro, and ten years later, he quit his construction job to pursue his passion full-time. Because of his commitment and dedication to art, Michael owns a studio gallery in San Fransisco, where he showcases his work.

Emma Chamberlain's dad opened the studio in 2003 to support Bay area artists by giving them a platform to showcase their artworks through solo or themed group shows.

Emma's mother, Sophia, works in the corporate industry. Based on her LinkedIn profile, she once worked as an executive assistant at Microsoft and office manager at Foley Electric, Inc. Currently, Sophia is a flight coordinator and executive assistant at Marmalade Skies LLC.

Emma Chamberlain's parents divorced when she was little. Even though her parents went their separate ways when she was young, they both tried to give their daughter a good life.

The Youtube star disclosed that despite her parents working hard to get a living, they still struggled financially. Emma recalled how they would skip going to the movies because her parents didn't have money.

She opened up about how her family endured a challenging period when her father fell sick and couldn't paint for that reason; they didn't have any income coming in.

Emma's Parents Supported Her Decision to Quit School and Become a Content Creator

In one of her episodes on her Youtube channel, Emma opened up to her audience about why she quit school when she was still a teenager. The social media influencer stated that the school system wasn't working for her.

After quitting school, Emma relocated to Los Angeles to live independently as a teenager. Despite her unconventional choices, she thanked her parents for being supportive and considered them her best friends.

While in high school, Emma's friends would create funny dance routine videos, and she would edit them and post them on a private Instagram account. She used her unique editing style and added effects such as zooming and adding text to different parts of the clips to emphasize the joke.

When Emma Chamberlain started her Youtube channel in 2017, her content was about DIY; she said she focused on that niche because it was popular then. However, she noticed that she wasn't getting a lot of reception.

Emma then decided to put all her personality into her content, and it was through that she began to attract many viewers. Her first video to go viral was "We All Owe The Dollar Store An Apology."

The hate comments negatively affected her, and she thought of quitting at some point. However, she stated that her family and friends have her back whenever she feels low.

Emma's star keeps shining bright, and just at 21 years, the beautiful lady has already rubbed shoulders with the who's and who's in Hollywood, including Kendall Jenner, and Gigi Hadid, among others.
