Steve Harvey is a versatile man who does many things, like being a writer who authored the relationship book "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man." In December 2022, Steve shared some advice on Instagram that he'd given on his show.
A female viewer asked the talk show host what she had to do to get second dates from her suitors. The "Family Feud" host explained how he'd always had the same conversation with his daughters.

The advice was informative, with Steve saying, "All you gotta do is listen to what I taught my daughters." The star continued, "You must let him see what he can get," before concluding:
"But make him imagine what he can have."
The woman who asked the question understood and took the television litigator's fatherly advice. Steve had always supported and been there for his children, like in June 2022, when it was revealed that his daughter, Lori Harvey, had broken up with Michael B. Jordan.
During a "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" episode, the game show host said he was "1,000 percent" on his daughter's team because of who she was to him. He also shared how he loved and supported her.
After his first two marriages ended, the star built a bond with his children. Steve had several children from three different marriages and blended them beautifully.

Although Steve's a celebrity, to his children, Karli, Brandi, Broderick, Wynton, Morgan, Jason, and Lori, he's just their father. The star welcomed his seven children during three different marriages.
While married to Marcia Harvey from 1980 to 1994, the former couple welcomed their twins, Karli and Brandi, in 1982. In 1991, their son, Broderick, was born, and then Steve married Mary Lee Harvey.
The former couple welcomed Wynton in 1997. The pair's marriage concluded in 2005, and two years later, the television show host married his third and current wife, Marjorie Harvey.
Marjorie had three children, Morgan, Jason, and Lori, when she married Steve, who adopted them. Having his family blend with his third wife made the television presenter feel like he was lucky, with him stating in 2016:
“It was like being reborn. I messed up so many times in my life. She made all the difference. When you're happy at home, you can make a lot of things happen.”
The star was close with all his children but confessed they weren't happy when they were initially introduced to Marjorie and her offspring. Steve said he told his brood to "deal with it" because he didn't need their permission.
His wife noted how everyone came from a broken space when coming into a blended family. The game show host knew his relationship with Marjorie was right and wanted to prove to their children they could become a "strong family unit."
The star's wife told them everyone would be included and have access to their parents and asked them not to interfere with what they had now. She said she and Steve were the mother and father to all of them.
